Being born in the early 1980s, when the world had first started to distance itself from smoke, I can attest to this personally. Smoking was absolutely everywhere. It's not accurate at all. Here (U.S.) you can only deduct the interest (and sometimes PMI payments) portion, and only if the amount of your itemized deductions exceed the standard deduction that everyone gets. In practice it only benefits those with very expensive houses on high-interest loans, or those with a lot of itemized deductions. The intersection of these is somewhere around a meager 8% of taxpayers.

They are a glossy black/purplish and they tend to live in corners of garages. I got bit only once and it was horrible, a day and a half of feeling awful and a swollen leg.
I go out of my way to avoid hurting spiders. Except False Black Widows. We get a lot of them here and they are kill on sight. Aggressive little bastards that will put you in urgent care.

It gave me anemia so severe I was shivering cold in 95F and I didn't realize it for months until my spouse pointed it out. Long covid took me around 5 months to recover from. Another guy I know took almost a year to recover and was debilitated. Couldn't work, could barely eat.
Right. Give it a good 12 hours before you are back to "normal" when taking benadryl IMO.
