Probably because Juror #1 also gets their news from Fox New, MSNBC, and NYT. So they have multiple news sources, some with opposing biases, so they're less likely to be stuck in an echo-chamber hearing only pro-Trump spins on stories.

Same juror uses both Truth Social and X as their main sources of information. All other jurors, except one, seem to have three or more sources, so I can't see how Trump claims a prejudicial jury. (That 1 juror is either the liar Trump wanted to 'prove' prejudice or completely cut off from the world.) After all this noise, I wonder if Trump wanted a guilty verdict. Makes for far more opportunities to wind up his base than a not guilty verdict, that's for sure.

Then again, to remove the claim they could have just cropped it. Honestly, I figure that they just misread the graph. It took me a second to catch the way to properly read it as well. That's exactly what I did at first, since that's what made sense to me. Dunno why people are so quick to assume malice when the far easier answer that won't get your blood pressure up is that someone made an easy-to-understand mistake. Sometimes the benefit of the doubt isn't warranted, but in this case? Someone who only gets news from TS and X isn't really any less damning than -only- TS. They're both right-wing echo chambers (the former by design, the latter by algorithm and/or choice).

A lot of the time, when you're with these people, you can "convince" them of your views at least temporarily. You have to really stick to your guns, and you unfortunately can't hold their hand forever, they will eventually revert.

They don't read/watch the news. Strategists from both major parties cite these people as one of their biggest challenges. Except in the case of Trump, it actually helps. In focus groups, many people legitimately have no idea about Trump, his scandals, his trials... These people overwhelmingly say they are voting for Trump because "the economy was better then." I jokingly refer to these people as "gas price voters." They vote for whatever party is in office when gas prices are low.
