#1 yeah, that one doesn’t seem believable. Either dogs randomly spawn in the middle of oceans or those people threw him in there first.
The dog could have theoretically jumped off a boat that went by there long enough ago to no longer be visible but that would have been a while, presumably and the dog doesn’t seem very exhausted from the swimming.
