The fact that after all these years, this is still a talking point by (in my experience) exclusively theists, tells me that you’re just being dishonest or parroting talking points from dishonest apologists

You’re using half of a description for a full definition which is the problem. A/theism speaks to belief. A/gnostic speaks to knowledge. The vast majority or atheists are agnostic atheists = i do not know whether or not a god exists, but i have no reason to believe one exists. Any combination of those four terms gets you an accurate description of theists and atheists. However, most working definitions of “knowledge” fall short of absolute certainty, so p much everyone falls under agnostic.

The throttle maintains its position when released. Idk how standard it is, but every boat I’ve ever been in has a metal clip near the ignition that is supposed to be tied to the operators wrist that gets pulled as a killswitch if they slip/fall/go overboard. Obviously, you could have the clip in without being attached, but this is the risk you run.

Unbelievably lucky that the car filming was paying attention AND able to get out of the way safely before the cyclist became roadkill

The first time I took shrooms I reached a point where I think i experienced ego death. I thought the life I had known completely ended and it had all been an illusion and I would never see my loved ones again. My first thought was to call my mom because if she answered, that meant she was real. We had a surprisingly normal conversation. To this day she has no idea how she brought me back from the brink.

I only worked in an office for a year after high school and it was a fairly laidback, oldschool crowd. The environment you describe sounds psychotic. Who in their right mind would be so brazenly belligerent and difficult to a coworker?

Yeah. You can easily get a religious person to excuse the most heinous, inhumane shit in their holy book. It doesn’t phase them.

I’m of the opinion that life in general has been made too comfortable to rise up in a way that is dangerous enough to effect meaningful change. Will you march on the capitol and be gunned down by the police/military or will you stay home and watch Netflix?

We had a company redo the sheetrock in our house after a flood. When i wired up the outlets afterwards, couldn’t figure out why half of the circuit was still dead. Then i realized one wall didn’t have an outlet that definitely should have.

Idk what memorial she’s referring to; it may have been some impromptu moment of silence or other gathering in the wake of what happened. Regardless, you realize the reason 9/11 happened (other than it being an inside job) was because the US was involved in and proliferated conflict throughout the middle east for decades beforehand, right?

We had a beautiful orb weaver on our back porch for a month or two. Initially took some convincing the wife to let her stay as she was in the perfect spot to catch all the moths that fly in our back door. Lovely things.

I made sure our dane had pet insurance from day one and let me tell you that saved us from financial ruin several times over. Everyone should have insurance for their pets but especially for breeds like the dane.

That’s merle. Gray coat. Harlequin is a white coat. Our girl is a merle. Best look imo.

I proposed in private with just a handful of family members around but i feel like you should 1.) propose when you 1000% know the answer will be yes and 2.) at that point it doesn’t really matter where the setting is.

Fresh ones can behave like that. As it dries out, it becomes more stiff but looks normal to me.

Yeah, no idea when it happened. As a kid, my eyes would swell shut. At some point in my 20’s it just stopped thankfully.
