2/2 I personally prefer agnosticism. I don’t know that there isn’t some all knowing being out there guiding the machinations of the universe, but until you prove it to me I’m not going to put any stock in it.
Atheism, by definition is an active belief that deities do not exist. It is as much a belief as any established religion, but they are not an organized religion. Imo if every religious person comported themselves the way most atheists do, (just holding your belief, not needing to discuss it or analyze it or preach it) then the world would be a far better place. The only reason atheists get uppity is because organized religion is so unbearably in your face most of the time. 1/2

You either get your workers to work harder/longer, which should be accompanied by wage increases, or if possible, you install some form of automation, which requires significant up front investment. But why bother, when you can just pressure employees to work themselves to death so you can squeeze an extra percent or two out of them?

If it’s not fighting, feeding or fucking, we as a species are not naturally inclined towards it.I know pipe fitters that have a hard time counting to 10 and doctors who can’t change a lightbulb.Public education should not be about preparing you for any particular job. Sure it’s not moving as fast, but a horizontal pitch can be contacted anywhere in, let’s say a 1’ long section of its travel, while your swing and the ball are travelling for the most part on the same plane.With a vertical pitch, a horizontal swing has to arrive at the position of the ball, or within an area roughly the width of the bat, at the same moment the ball occupies that space.
