I’ve been so painfully aware of the cameras EVERYWHERE over the last few years. Drove about an hour the other day through mixed roads from residential to interstate. Lost count of total cameras but on the way back I counted intersections with/without. 164 with (usually 3-5) to 37 (not including single stop sign intersections) without. That’s not counting dozens of cameras along highways, on businesses, etc.
Individually or split up it’s disturbing. Networked & AI monitored it’s horrifying.

One moderate intersection (four way with 2-3 lanes on all side in most directions) had 12 cameras I could quickly count including several just out of normal reach pointed at the crosswalks. Adjacent smaller intersections had 4-8 each.
It’s enough to make me completely loath to go out at all.
Also makes getting into hunting seem more interesting.

Yeah, they sort of don't realize that not everyone has paywall workarounds available. They aren't difficult to set up, but only if you know what to look for and how to use them after. At the moment, I'm using the Remove Paywall extension for Firefox. I'm sure at some point that'll be rendered useless, but it works for now. Once it's installed, right click on an empty space on the page when a paywall shows up, and there should be an option to remove the paywall.
