I'm 67 and have a room in my house devoted to Lego.

Same thing I told my wife the instant I heard this on the news.

Maybe we need to organize protection for her and her family?

Exactly! I have always looked for women who know what they are doing. And I'm not stupid enough to ask where or when they learned it.

Are you going to provide a possible solution or just point out that no plan is perfect?

My wife and I got married when we were both 40. Shortly after, she went through my computer when I was at work. When I got home, she had a screaming fit about some nudes and stories she found on it. I told her that I was an adult and that it was nothing to be ashamed of. Then, I asked her why she went through my computer. She wanted to see what I was doing. I pointed out that the problem wasn't what was on my computer but her trying to control me.

Then why are they still working?

I think we should require politicians to wear body cams with the recordings available to the public.

My wife quit doing that. She would ask me if I knew what I was doing, and I would smile and say, "Don't have a clue. But that's never stopped me before!" Then laugh maniacally. She has stopped bothering me when I'm doing things.

I say we use a fact checker with a button they push every time they hear a lie. I volunteer to operate the button. "Why did you push the button? She didn't say anything." " Her lips started moving."

When my wife begins with "I'm sure", I ask her if she "knows" or is she guessing? If you don't ask, you don't "know"

My wife uses the same argument when she just wants to piss me off.

I zoomed and then looked it up. Looks like a Michigan plate to me.

I keep telling my wife that instead of being afraid, women should gang up on men like that. Make them afraid to do anything! Look at what the women in India did. When a rapist was let off with a slap on the wrist, they flooded the courtroom and beat the men senseless.

When I was a kid, we had our house reroofed. The guys were using a couple of nailguns to attach the tiles. My brother asked how far one would shoot. The guy offered to use it to ring the doorbell of the house across the street. We told him they didn't have a doorbell. He pointed the gun at the house and said it should be about there and fired it. We went and looked, and the nail was stuck in the door frame. It barely stuck, but it was there.

My wife used to say that I always said she was a horrible person. These were words that I had never uttered. One day, when I could tell we were about to get in an argument, I said, "Listen carefully. You are a horrible person. Now, I want you to notice that I am not saying these words. Nothing I'm going to say means or sounds like that sentence!"

I say we use my Dad's method of education. If I can't teach one end, I'll teach the other end. He used to say, "Pain is nature's way of saying you have f'd up. Who are we to argue with a mechanism that took billions of years to evolve?"

There was a comic where an evil magic user manages to make Clark forget he's Superman. Clark then becomes a crusading crime fighting reporter. The criminals keep trying to kill him and can't understand why nothing seems to work. Lois eventually figures it out and gets the magic user to bring Superman back.

Years back, it was all Photoshop. Usually, by someone with no artistic skills.

In that case, we demand a week long public viewing in the rotunda.

It must really suck to be the kind of person that no matter what good someone did, you feel smug about pointing out their mistakes from your perspective. Do you have a halo?

Why don't we start our own PAC? Along with the fact we pay their salaries, and can vote them out of office, that should give some leverage.

#1 engineers take a large, difficult problem and break it down into smaller, more easily solved problems. Politicians take a bunch of smaller problems and bundle them together into a larger problem no one can solve.

IIRC I read where someone asked William Shatner if Kirk and Spock were lovers. His reply was basically Kirk wasn't about to get involved with someone who was only in the mood once every 7 years.

As an American from the US, I would personally vote for a pile of dog shit before I voted for dump head.
