Noodles!

She’s just so casual about the whole thing.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'd like to go visit Australia, but nope, not unless she is there to wrangle the critters for me.

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Australia!

Australia!

Australia!

We love you!

Amen.

This is why I live where the air hurts my face

A few minutes earlier: 'Hey kiddo, bring me the snake hook! Not that one, the 5 footer!'

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

What a woman!

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Great! Now you’re going to have rats there!

2 months ago | Likes 110 Dislikes 0

There a reason it ended up there, so maybe not a joke.

2 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I'm not sure, but it could JUST be because wires are warm. Safe warm and dark makes a happy snake.

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Possibly. I didn't know enough to say anything for certain.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Could have been a snake rave.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That was pretty casual.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, it IS just Monday down there...

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That looks like peak Queensland (more pythons up where it's warmer, not as common here in Sydney and other southern capitals)

2 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Oi, she's a beaut! Look at how nice the snakes are being too. Not thrashing, not biting, just coiling to maintain balance, very relaxed, probably would make great pets if they weren't already.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Face too close to hole.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

We've had snake but how about second snake?

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It just kept coming...

agreed, probably best just to take off and nuke the whole site from orbit

My wife would have a heart attack being within 5 feet of that

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Mine’s a trained snake handler (also Australian); she was like ‘carpet python… a monster… hang on… two! Bewdy!’

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My wife won’t even watch this video.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They look like diamond pythons. They are beautiful snakes.

2 months ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Oh, I was wondering if she was holding near the head because venomous or just sharp teeths.

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

easier to control a snake by grabbing at either extremity... but if you have an option go for the head.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Looked them up, apparently they can bite and leave the teeth in, but otherwise are generally not an issue to people: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morelia_spilota_spilota

But generally a decent idea for snakes to hold them by the head to avoid problems.

2 months ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I mean ... a snake not being venomous doesn't mean a bite from it is *fun* ... for most people.

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Are there two snakes, or is this AI slop? Where she grabs it first detaches from the rest of the snake...

2 months ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 12

A nearly minute long video with no cuts or warping? That's just two snakes

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Not AI - that’s just how Australian snakes be

2 months ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

It's two snakes. The second one has a small portion of its body looped out of the hole as the first snake's tail comes out.

2 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

They were making more snakes

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

The first one was biting the second one mid body

2 months ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 2

Don't tell them how to have a good time.

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Fuck, it is two.

Bit of help, here!

2 months ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 1

“SSSURPRISE!!!

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

That looks like a genuine woolies bag on the bench there. It's real

2 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

What kind of snakes ya think?

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Long ones

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The woolies logo looks like a fuckin python

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's a W in the shape of an apple. But yeah, I can see the snake

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know. But after watching this video it's a fuckin snaaaaake

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Very clearly 2 snakes....

2 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I hate how we've devolved to "this doesn't meet my expectations...it must be AI" to gain easy engagement and internet points. And it works.

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Kind of strawmanning it, methinks. The person just asked if it was AI due to a facet of the video that didn't make sense to them. There was no assumption drawn. But if you mean in general while not specifically referring to their comment, yes, I agree to an extent.

Years back, it was all Photoshop. Usually, by someone with no artistic skills.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Do you remember the allegedly photoshopped photo of the guy with the Maine Coon? We see even bigger Maine Coons today.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because it's so grossly rampant, not because it gets us internet points.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

But people are so bad at actually spotting it. Accusing mundane things of being ai. Accusing actual artists of being ai. The low effort accusations are just as harmful

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

It's a good practice to crowd source identification of ai vs human work. There's ai work that I wouldn't be able to tell is AI. Not attempting to identify it means that we just accept everything regardless of source.

If it's vetted and determined to be human content, it is more supportive of human work than allowing ai to edge them out of the market.

If there's anyone to be upset with here, it's the producers of AI content that's constantly forcing people to question reality.
