Its not like it matters if its illegal, they all break laws all the time, including child rape and war crimes, and no one does anything.

Make public officials lying a felony... no. a death sentence. once they are facing the wall will they know how bad they fucked up , after deciding to lie to the people

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

you lie, you die. it is that simple of a concept for government officals

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Jail Trump.

1 week ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 1

It already is illegal.

But something being illegal isn't enough. The Executive is responsible for arresting and prosecution. The Legislature is empowered to remove them if they are not doing the job. Want it fixed? Stop electing morons.

And they wonder why their scare tactics about socialism are becoming less and less effective.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

they have lost touch with reality so bad they're running ads against social democrats that are very helpful to the opposition.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Their own bullshit has them so scared that they are increasingly doing things that actually accelerate the process of alienating the majority of Americans.

She's back? Ugh. Gross.

1 week ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I see she ditched the stupid little cross. Probably was burning her skin.

1 week ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It needs to be a crime for any public official or public figure like a news anchor to intentionally lie.

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If it's illegal for people to lie to the government, it should be illegal for government officials to lie to the people.

"Have you ever paid a tariff?"
Yes. The fees for processing were more than the actual tariff but yes
Literally the tariff was like, 15$ but the fees for processing were 20$

If you don't understand the psychology of the hog, you will never make inroads to defeating the hog ideology. /gallery/why-conservatives-get-to-cheat-bBmbR8z The Left was drawn together, and organized around, Fairness. Seeing unfairness alienates Leftists, atomizes the movement. The Right however is organized around LOYALTY. When the right bends the rules for a member of the ingroup, it binds their movement together tighter and stronger.

This is why conservatives and major tech are pushing AI down everyone's throats. It's not to make people believe fabricated videos and imaging are real - it's to make them question the validity of everything they see.

Wow! You put a lot of well organized info together, thank you for that and the quote.

It's good that they're bound ever tighter together. They're easier to drown that way when we throw them all into the ocean

That data in that post suggests that Americans think 21% of people are transgender and 20% of people make over $1m household income... This test group was literally dumb as a rock.

1 week ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

So average Americans?

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The misconception infographic is far from the majority of the data in that post. However, https://www.thenationalliteracyinstitute.com/2024-2025-literacy-statistics 54% of adults have a literacy below a 6th-grade level (20% are below 5th-grade level). 21% of adults in the US are illiterate in 2024. Average Americans.

Of course, they were Americans.

When she leaves that position she is going to be so embarrassed when the kids in the future have to pull up the crap that came out of her mouth and the defense of the idiot in the white house she's just going to hang her head in shame because she sounds so moronish

Fuck that. It should be a felony with a minimum of 25 years to serve for any politician OR POLITICAL CANDIDATE to mislead the public about anything, whether through mistruths or the intentional leaving out information that would be germane to the subject being discussed. Tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth or sit your ass in prison.

I feel like everything officials do should have to be "under oath" making any of their lies perjury

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

it would be lovely to ask her how she feels knowing that the american public want to make it a felony to knowingly lie to them as press secretary. bet she would run crying from the building

1 week ago | Likes 167 Dislikes 4

Have you even seen her speak? She would double down and start yelling at them.

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

She would not. She would double down and get pissy and make a bunch of false claims and spew endless bullshit. That's kind of the whole Republican go to.

1 week ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

it would be lovely if she were made to take the walk of atonement like Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones

1 week ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I have only ever seen one single episode of that show and I liked it more than anyone I've ever met that has also seen that specific episode. it was the finale, I didn't think it was that bad.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I've never seen any episodes actually. I'm just aware that this scene exists and it seems fitting for what Leavitt deserves.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm guessing that's the march with the shouting of shame? I'm down

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Iirc they march her through the streets naked after cutting her hair short whilst the public yells shit at her and spits on her. Idr if they threw stuff at her or not

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

no she won't because she knows it won't happen. she knows that what american says on the internet doesn't translate into the real world because of how apathetic and beaten into submission they are. Or else you wouldn't have this much children killed by firearms, and an honest police force.

I’m running for the United States Senate and when elected, I will submit this bill. It will likely be stalled in committee and never brought to the floor for a vote.. but I will make the entire process public as fuck and make sure people know exactly who is holding “the anti-lie” bill up.

1 week ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 1

Cool. Can you also give some teeth to any of the laws meant to keep the executive branch in check? Laws aren't doing us any good when they can just ignore the courts.

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Very sharp teeth.

How?

and i sincerely wish for you to succeed

The first statement is incorrect but semantically arguable. The second statement is just straight up bullshit.

She is a stuoid fucking cunt. Her only skills is sucking old man dick which is why she got married and fucked her way I to this admin. She is so unbelievably stupid. Her only retort to things is "actually *repeats lie*"

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's not a lie if she believes it, which is to say, she just might be stupid enough not to realize how tariffs work.

Make all Political positions require a legally binding Contract of Service, no bullshit oath. Term limits for everyone. Eliminate and make illegal all Lobbying and "donations" of any sort. And on and on and on...

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They should be forced to wear shock collars hooked to a polygraph. Make lying hurt.

1 week ago | Likes 102 Dislikes 3

We should be allowed in the press room to boo and throw tomatoes at her.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Contempt of congress, handcuffs off to jail for 24 hours, $100K fine collectible immediately . Back the next day, lie again, week in jail, $200K fine etc. They'd sing like songbirds

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

polygraphs only work if your body has a response to lying. These fuckers lie so regularly that there would be no response.

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Unfortunately polygraphs are not flawless lie detectors. You get lots of false positives and lots of false negatives, which is why they're not admissible as court evidence. In the end, they're about as reliable as guessing.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No just shock collors are attached to a button a human presses when she or anyone from the trump regime gets in front of a microphone and camera. They lie they get hit with the voltage of a taser live

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

these people deserve nothing less

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Polygraphs don't work. At all.

1 week ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 0

On people who know how to dodge them, sure, but you can frequently see these people sweating over a question on live tv, pretty sure a polygraph works fine on them

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It is a completely subjective reading of effectively random outputs. You can hook a houseplant up to a polygraph and the polygraph expert would not be able to tell the difference. Research was done on this, but instead of "researchers prove polygraphs are completely useless", the mass media chose to go with "researchers find that houseplants have feelings!"

6 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Okay, so it's only the shock collar then

1 week ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

You don’t get to put shock collars on public officials in the real world either. It’s my fantasy, and I can assume I have a working, perfectly accurate polygraph machine if I want to.

6 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I say we use a fact checker with a button they push every time they hear a lie. I volunteer to operate the button. "Why did you push the button? She didn't say anything." " Her lips started moving."

1 week ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

If someone charged 5 bucks to push that button for 10 minutes, you would A: have a balanced budget and B: have a line halfway to Chicago.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not to automate another human job away, but operating that particular button could also be done accurately with a cinderblock.

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's not a job, it's a revenue opportunity.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They have freedom of speech too. The press doesn't have to report what they say, they do it for profit. They could research how it's a lie and inform the public, but they do it for profit

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's always what a press secretary is

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 17

Don’t be disingenuous, and compare a mountain to molehill just because they’re the same shape.

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The problem with this press secretary isn't that they're spouting propaganda, because that's always what they do. The problem is that they're spouting lies and the propaganda is notably dangerous in ways that previous propaganda was not.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

No, that’s was a *republican* press secretary is.

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Lying isn't necessary for propaganda (good propaganda avoids it). Democrats are no less propagandists, they're just not as prone to lies. And I tend to think their propaganda is better (morally). Certainly less harmful and destructive.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0
