No, the planet isn’t fine! At least not if you by ”the planet” mean anything else than the bare rock. Ecosystems and biodiversity are collapsing everywhere with frightening speeds. And yeah, some new ecosystems and biodiversity might emerge in only a few million years, but that is like saying that you are fine after the car crash because you’ll walk almost normally in only a few years.

In Stockholm the park next to the Russian embassy is nowadays named Free Ukrainians Place. There are plenty of similar examples in Europe.

And they already knew that they fucked up, so no point in rubbing that in.

While it might seem futile, I still do my best to reduce my carbon footprint. And I vote. I need to be able to see my kids in the eyes and say that I at least tried to not destroy their world. And if most people did the same, we wouldn’t be in this mess.

I had my gallbladder removed this spring. I went into ER because of severe stomach pain on a Monday afternoon. On Wednesday the same week the gallbladder was removed and I left the hospital a day later. I paid something like $50, mostly for using the hospital bed and eating the hospital food. This was in Sweden.

He probably could, but getting it from Epstein was probably the easiest and most discrete solution. I’m sure that Epstein had a full pharmacy for that kind of diseases.

I’m certain they are doing their best. Considering the popularity of bottled water they are doing very well at least when the scale is big. Maybe some niches just are too small to bother with.

Few people doubt that there are substances in plants that affect our health or mood (coffee, anyone?). Some of them have been extracted and/or synthesised to become mainstream medicine. It would be surprising if there weren't others that haven't been deemed economically viable to make commercial products of, but still are effective.

The US is in a desperate need for a new constitution. I know you really like it and are really proud of it (it was really progressive in 1789), but it clearly doesn’t work any more. And nowadays we have some good, well tested, ideas on how make it better.

And at this point I guess few remembers the wall that Mexico was supposed to pay for.

He had done nothing to deserve it at that point, which is what I wrote. But neither had he done anything to disqualify himself from it yet.

While I agree he didn't deserve it, he got it after only a few months of his presidency. At that time he hadn't gotten around to be responsible for those yet.

The more time he spend whining about shit like this the less time he has to start another war. He should be completely bogged down in petty shit.

You aren’t afraid you are becoming worse than the other side? We are the side of reason because we dare to question facts even when they don’t agree with our narrative. (And sometimes we update our beliefs in light of new facts.)

But that is what they do against everyone that they think can become a threat. We don’t let them decide our candidates!

To be fair, you did elect Trump twice. I can’t think of any other country that has elected such an imbecile for their highest office.
