The thing about lasers is that they are somewhat reliant on the right conditions. Even just moderate amount of mist greatly limits a systems capabilities. It will really boil down to how cheap the systems can be build and if the naval versions the US for example tested are anything to go by ... probably not that cheap. Still crazy to see how this war evolves.

Missiles for very long range interception, drones for long range interception. radar guided machine guns & auto cannons for medium range interception, Signal jamming for long & medium range, & microwave, EMP, & LASER for short range.
So, when you get a swarm thrown at you, you have multiple chances to hit the swarm components.

Yepp and thanks to government spending during and after the war, not to mention the flood of soldiers needing new work after the war, their manufacturing sector will expand greatly. That said, tech is different and they dont have enough money to compete against USA or China to stay ahead.

First of all, its a newbie mistake to study a past conflict and assume that the next will be similar such as learning trench warfare in WW1 to try use it in WW2. Secondly, the Russia-Ukraine war is unique in how it is a battle of two failed armies. Other countries will not fight like that.
While some Ukrainian innovations will be useful to nato, most wont be relevant such as how to stretch supplies to last or how to use low tech to beat superior forces. NATO is the superior force so to speak.
