Where's the money coming from? Congress hasn't approved or allocated that money. The Senate already blew their reconciliation on that $80b ICE funding bill. And there's no way he's going to find enough Dems willing to bail his ass out on something they're going to be hammered on in an election year (and frankly, their AIPAC owners won't allow it).

Germany paid most back in the 70's as it was only a loan to buy US Goods. The Marshall plan was to prevent another Recession. By lending the Europeans lot of money that they could they rebuild their economy which was Americas biggest Export market. And the Europeans had to buy most of it in America. And the US gave Germany around 20Billions in US money which they used for their Startup Bank KFW as ground stock.

I wasn't alive then, but that statement really seems to still ring true today. Most white Americans in my observation "aren't racist" in the sense that they don't actively wish to make non-whites be a submissive secondary class. But, they also aren't anti-racist in the sense that they're happy to settle with any system that doesn't disrupt or inconvenience them personally. Don't worry, they are and people don't do shit. Germany is always behind the US with those developments by 5-10 years. Our chancellor is literally doing Kiesinger (Not Kissinger) and literally does everything wrong so we get our MAGA (AFD) either next legislation period or the period after. I think you'll find that's actually not true. It's more like people WON'T riot if their quality of life, while shitty, is still high enough that it outweighs the uncertainty of rioting. Notice Ferguson rioted over black man #690,420 being murdered by cops, but the wider rest of the country pretty much has yet to riot over anything. The closest we've seen is civil disobedience + disruption in response to ICE activity. Poor people with little or *nothing to lose* will riot quite easily.

But people who are reasonably sure of having all their needs met, even if just barely, and of being left alone have more inertia. Ofc Trump has proven that it's completely arbitrary whether he'll leave you alone or not, and no one is safe, but most people are way too comfy.
