Seeing the same thing with my father in law. MiL died about 2 years ago. He's deteriorated a lot since then, no longer leaving the house, in a way he's like a corpse waiting to happen.

I think you can almost leave out the /s there. It's quite disturbing that he really never mentions her feelings or anything. I would not be surprised if he really does see her as his property.

I saw a longer interview with this asshole. Everything he says is framed in the way that portrays him as an unjust victim because he's white and wealthy. Never even shows concern for his detained wife. He's a real piece of shit.
Question from the outside: I'm seeing more and more posts about people cutting down aluminium posts (on their own property). How widedspread is all this right now?

I'm thinking a TV with a built-in DVD player and maybe a VHS player as well. The top half seems to have an old CRT-style display, and a SCART cable connector. I can spot a DVD in the bottom half, and above the DVD some kind of mechanical device which I'd guess would be the motor for the VHS tape.And fuck that's a lot of mould.

I think there's a fundamental misunderstanding here. I'm not judging people for posting AI. Nor do I get some kind of sense of superiority out of this. It's more a chore then anything else. If you don't care that it's AI, then yeah I understand why you don't care about people pointing out AI-generated content.
Do you enjoy seeing AI-generated content on Imgur? When you see AI-generated content will you upvote it or downvote it?AI-content is pretty tricky to spot sometimes. Would you appreciate it that AI-content gets marked out as being AI-generated?

You don't understand the need to call out AI when it gets posted? You don't get that people can make a mistake? Or is it both?
Because it is. In the two shots the marble floor gets a whole different pattern, the indentations on the back rest of the toilet don't match in the two shots either and the whole thing has that general 'fuzzy' feel that a lot of AI video's have when they render things they aren't properly trained on.

Nearing 45 here, I married a woman with two kids who I love as my own. Looking at the state of the world now, If I was 25 again, in the same financial situation as I am now I would not have kids even though I've had a child wish for most of my adult life. I can provide for my children, but I think that the world they're going to grow up in is going to be significantly worse then the world I grew up in.
Dunno if it's about being helpful. Maybe I'm cynical, jaded or both, but to me it seems that someone who brags about doing errands for the boss/manager/director isn't about being helpful, it's about them feeling self-important.
