Honestly? I try not to think about him. He was a government actor. He did his job to the best of his ability. He did an acceptable job. That's the competent minimum. Perfectly ignorable.BUT, if I did have to think about him... He's the patsy, the fall guy. Trump fumbled the COVID response. That is patently obvious. As a leftist, I have to hold two truths in my head simultaneously. 1. The Dems are the only path for a progressive agenda to be put in place. Solidarity with them is in our best interests. 2. The Dems are not your friends. They do not share your progressive values.
