Infallable Megalomaniac on the inside, Anti-solipsistic Dickensian ghost on the outside.

I was sipping a soda when I read this and literally did a involuntary "Guh!" sound as I tried not to spit my drink

pfff, if this Maga doesn't show up in the highly academic publication 'Stick Gods' I doubt it's noteworthy.

that second panel was one of the funniest things ever the first time I read it. Dungeon Meshi has some fantastic comedy in it.

I remember hearing, like, 15 years ago it had been done in america for the first time in decades since it was thought to be bunk, and over that time it's become more and more broadly applicable as we find the gut/brain links and various internal ecology stuffs. Wild how these things shake out.

Yeh, I've seen the clip. Fortunately it was years later because i woulda been so mad if it was around the time I saw the first movie. God the guy has no talent for storytelling.

Funny, my dad quit cold turkey the first time he paid a dollar for a pack. I can't imagine him smoking but I imagine the rising cost really did get a bunch of folks to quit in the late 60's/70's

at least dad is able to express himself in the second-most noble of mediums, the sandwich. (first being comics obvs.)

Could be wrong, but I assume Fred Perry of the comic Gold Digger. He's done some other animations in his free time. several of the characters in the comic are cat people IIRC.

I never can tell where this guy is gonna go at the end. The trajectory always spirals out further than I could dream. Love his vids

The rebellious fashion culture of *gyaru* has a subculture called "yamanba" which is a variation of this name IIRC. Super tanned/dark sprayed skin, wild makeup and long white/light hair. Fairly wild to call yourself a mountain witch and dress such a way in Japan of all places, so big respect to them!
