the most wild one of these i remember is she miniaturizes the kids then takes them to this book where a baseball field had been carved out of the book and the surface of the field was frictionless. I remember watching that and thinking as a kid... wouldn't they all be trapped forever once they were on the field. they do something clever with the baseball and Newtonian physics

The only problem with that, is she absolutely ends up in the Library. The bus to me was more like a way to move between the realities of the books. Dr Moon kept copies of the children that the Library saved and gave her the job of taking care of them.
