"Be sceptical, ask questions, demand proof. Demand evidence. Don’t take anything for granted. But here’s the thing: When you get proof, you need to accept the proof. And we’re not that good at doing that." - Michael Specter

FYI, US casualties during Operation Desert Storm amounted to 770: https://dcas.dmdc.osd.mil/dcas/conflictCasualties/gulf/stormsum Trump and his regime still claims they don't need the approval of Congress for the war against Iran, because it's not a "real" war.

While I wouldn't call it an advertisment, my main issue is that I need to create an account to access it. Providing a source is a bit pointless in a social media context when the readers can't (easily) access the source.

The Office of the Attending Physician, a federal agency, stated in writing that he's "maintained a strenuous course of physical therapy and rehabilitation, including multiple sessions a day designed to rebuild strength and reduce the risk of future falls": https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c5yd8k3rgj7o So either the world's most incompetent regime somehow manages to pull an ongoing cover-up on a level only seen in Hollywood movies, or a bunch of social media nutcases are making shit up again.

They don't even have a "proof of competency" should the President order a nuclear strike, just a "proof of authenticity" to make sure that it's the President who gives the order.

I wanted to call the ICC about it but then remembered that the US doesn't recognize it.

To me it sounds nonsensical to have a "chief" executive/technology/financial officer if there's no one reporting to them. A single indian is an indian, not a chieftain.

They already knew all they needed to know about him. He had been send back to Germany for trying to enter Syria to join ISIS, sentenced for violent crimes and preparation of a terror attack. The German justice system had been fully aware of him. Just like they had been aware of the islamic terrorist who killed 13 people and injured 67 in Berlin in 2016. Today our politicians repeat the same thing they said 10 years ago: "We need to check if something needs to be changed." and then do nothing.

It's BS. The correct pronounciation is "OY-luhr": https://www.oed.com/dictionary/euler_n I'm a native German speaker and never heard it proncouned any different, neither in school nor in my STEM studies at the university.

Native German speaker here. It's pronounced "OY-luhr". The Oxford English Dictionary says so, too: https://www.oed.com/dictionary/euler_n It never occured to me how someone could pronounce it "YOO-luh", but I guess if the language you try to integrate it in is far enough away from the original language of the name, it's possible. Wrong, but possible. There's a variation of the name Euler in the US that is spelled Oyler - probably because people were fed up with having their name mispronounced.

" V-1 rockets with a propeller in the back" I need you to read this slowly and think about what's the problem with it.

Cats who are fed with dry food need a source of water, that's correct. But cats in general don't need "a lot of water". Our house cats descended from wild cats that lived in deserts. Their kidneys are so effective that they are able to drink salt water and, if healthy and on a proper diet (not dry food), they can survive by drawing water from the food they eat. Nevertheless, a source of water should be made available, if just for comfort. But they aren't animals that need "a lot of water".

It could be argued that Kim Il Sung was a more successful fascist than Franco. But then a bunch of people, who don't know much about North Korea, would argue that Kim Il Sung was a communist, not a fascist.

The source you linked does not inlcude *any* quote of Hillary that shows she "promised military consequences". Furthermore, the statement that a source was asked for also included the claim that "all you morons said she was evil for it". That isn't even touched by that "source". I write "source" in quotation marks because it's not actually a source for anything that is being talked about in this discussion - neither the accusation against Hillary nor against "us".
