What I learned from this World Cup is that FIFA will lick Donald's asshole even harder than a GOP senator and everyone despises Argentina's team and fans for being assholes
I know nothing about their fans, and I only watched the final. And also not a football fan, but the way they acted on the field, jumping on people, blatantly trying to rip everyone down instead of showing actual skill taking the ball, was attrocious.
It wasn't a fight. It was continued violence by a guy (supported by his team) who should have been off the pitch at least an hour earlier. At least he got red-carded for this, even after the match, which meant he had to leave the pitch at once.
I never understood Argentina fans. It has never ever been a good team. Sure they had some good individual players, but never a good team. Just a bunch of loud, arrogant jerks. Sad that the appearance in the finals had been handed to them.
Fuckin hell. Game is over, go ahead and throw some fuckin hands. What's gonna happen? You get a red card? Stomp on some ankles, kick some kneecaps. Make Messi need a cane for the rest of his life.
All the respect for Messi I ever had as the goat of football, gone, he's just a bitch ass punk and Argentina will have a hard time reachi ng any final without him
That's a good play on words, but you should probably clarify that the Spaniards absolutely did not instigate this. The dude was going in for a handshake and the Argentinian player(s) just couldn't hold his big fee fees inside anymore and threw a violent tantrum.
The thing is: in hockey, you're expecting the fight. It's the difference between "yeah, let's step outside" and just getting decked in a bar after winning a game of pool
The rest of the world is civilized, so we generally don't want to see fighting. But I understand that the US is a less civilized place where, apparently, you feel the need to brag(?) that people in your sports are bigger assholes?
Are the paid off refs in blue? They're like, "We'll hold the Spanish back so Argentinians can smack them around. Let me pat the Argentinians on the head." So wild.
So when playing the game and a light breeze from a passing player touches their leg they fall and roll 30 times grasping their legs and grimacing. But here they find their toughness...
“The beautiful game” If any of this happened during the game them twits would have laid down and cried for an hour straight. I have no patience for soccer.
That's sadly not just an Argentina issue. It's a Latin American issue, since many of us feel too much, think too little, and lose our shit VERY easily.
No, this is an Argentinian football issue at that point. They played dirty for a long time and that is the continuation. It should have widespread consequences and the fact that the ref hasn't stepped in massively 2h earlier is a shame for football. But then again this was a FIFA event so it was a shame for football in general.
Mexicans are way humbler than Argentineans, but don't be fooled. Tensions and tempers are high after a football match, and fights like these aren't unheard of at all. Seen it happen far too often, considering I myself am Latin American.
As a South American, I'm often remembered of how insightful was the game XCOM with continental bonus for us. While other continents had research, tech, funding, and logistics, our bonus was "we have ways" - *somehow* we manage to be competitive in the global stage. The secret ingredient certainly isn't ethics. https://imgur.com/rHecBmO.png

Watching these sore losing thugs I suddenly see why Milei was elected. These are rabid dogs.

Doesn't even seem like a fight, seems like just a one-way attack on the winning team

Violent fight? Looked like a shoving match that ended as fast as it started.

The title on the video is wrong. Should say "assholes that can't play football assault real footbal players"

Clutch those pearls a little harder, for fuck's sake. In your blustery attempt at arrogance you just come across as wholly ignorant about the world you live in. "The rest of the world is civilized..."
