Important to point out that with the current Congress it's much worse than just insider knowledge and unfair advantage. They are actually directing funding and investment, selecting suppliers and contractors, manipulating not only their portfolio but the companies themselves. And frankly the current crop absolutely will buy stock in arms, and then go to war, and also pick who supplies the weapons. They already did this a bunch in just the last year.
Great point. Now how do I *stop* cringing at my past self?
Spacer is just a chunk, it's not going to be what fails. (And fwiw one little spacer isn't the issue, it can be used with reasonable safety to adjust the fit of a wheel if it has a different offset than the original, or if it needs to clear a new brake caliper. But those are just a few mm thick, maybe a couple of cm. I'm willing to bet there were a few stacked here or one very large.)Anyhow - yeah, when they shove the wheels out this far they create a long lever arm and it just eats bearings.
That's a weird take you can arrive at only by forgetting there's a society and we use language to communicate ideas. Like right here where I can explain to you that if a person understands their decision has near-term consequences (a fine) as well as consequences for the impact of their decisions (if they continue, and it hurts or kills someone then they are jailed) then we can *deter* those who feel that the fine is worth the image. Do you really think all crimes should have the same sentence?
That's just it - suspensions like this are already illegal. Owner accepted the risk of fines and the risk to others and felt that his image and his truck are worth more than your life. And now they injured and possible killed someone. There's no daylight in the gap between this and driving drunk. Before the incident in the video? Sure, fine them off the road. Now? Prison.
That smashed turd in his pants is the greatest achievement of his presidency.
#1 white pickup is using wheel spacers, which extend the wheel out way past what the suspension can support. I'm okay with a prison sentence for the owner.
Then how the fuck did I roll my character so badly?
Mammalian flukes with fish pelvic fins, and gills in the neck instead of where they would be.
That would alter the course of my life and career right now.
F-16 that Ukraine flies is an updated Generation 4, so let's say early 1990s level. SU-35 is "4.5" generation, developed from the earlier SU-27. And of course the definition of generation varies in the West, and Russia has their own system. But they're near-peer, not actually separated by four decades. Still a welcome feat.
AHAB.

Oh fuck no.
Hispanic man in my neighborhood drives one. Terrible decisions cross all boundaries.
Can I just draw attention to the cost of the judicial battles? Set aside the monumentally stupid tariffs every time he throws a tantrum. Just the cost of suing, and the drain on tax dollars to defend this stupidity. Every time, over and over.Even if every tariff dollar gets returned - and it won't get to the consumer - the side effects of chilled economy or the higher costs and riskier credit use by the consumers, the hit to the US' reputation, the millions poured into stupid court fights...
These are visibly bad design and I'm happy they never became reality. The screens are not aligned with the user's eyeline when they're sitting comfortably. Many of them also misalign the keyboards with the users' hands. And next to the keyboards are curved surfaces covered in fabric. No place to put down a mug, or use a mouse, or even just rest a hand.
Pseudothumb is my new go-to insult, thank you.
Thanks, I was stumped on why India would still view the USA in a positive light. Do you have any insight on whether the BJP has broad domestic support inside India?
#5 bit of? Protagonist spends pages just sharing his worldview and philosophy and being edgy and different. DCC even shares the same views I think but embeds it in the story instead of Carl pausing the whole plot to talk to the camera. Also have you looked at the Cradle series yet? Might be the most polished LitRPG series that I've found, considered end to end. A lot of other seriesstart off very weak, almost as if they're posted on Wattpad, and the author improves in progress.
Not that. This YouTuber draws straight lines. Meaning "Fetterman is a shitty guy who backs Israel no matter what they do and his primary source for Israel history and policy is some unqualified jackass" is real. This YouTuber, right here in this presentation, says that the jackass is his shadow handler, 'entirely outside' of normal channels, etc. You can make anything a conspiracy theory if you pick just the dots you want. Seriously, he pins 9/11 on Israel in another video this way.
I feel like this is a northeast USA view vs dry south.
Timeline is not accurate. Elder millennials were already in their twenties in 2008, and had the opportunity to lose everything personally. Not their parents. And many were already carrying that student debt before the crash.
No. Way too wordy and edgy. The "Fascist Lives Don't Matter" maybe.
Yikes. This one has to be called out. Not least of which bec this podcaster ties *everything* to Israel - he asserts that 9/11 was an Israeli op - but also bec to make his points he elides context for everything. In this case miscasting the article. Safier is a shithead. Fetterman is a shithead. Their views are awful. But shaping it as Fetterman is manipulated and isolated by this one advisor who is secretly dancing to Israel's tune is... very much in keeping with this guy's general content.
Well she does have some incredible acting range but yeah probably edited.
Mines. Not by getting hit in the head by a flying gator. Hitting a sudden unexpected speed bump in the road.
At least one Roomba vacuum in testing was found to not only map but also take pictures. One was a woman on a toilet.
Well we know it wasn't spent on books.
