Kind of surprised both Pakistan and India are favorable because they pretty much are constantly fighting with each other and he hasn't 'ended' that war.
He's a slumlord. What did people expect? His daddy made his fortune screwing over poor tenants in NYC and enshittifying whole neighborhoods. Nothing that family touches is ever made better.
Based on public opinion in all those countries? Not very believable there are so many "mostly favorable" views towards the us in all those "green" countries even before trump, especially in all those south- and middle american and asian countries the us fucked around with over the decades.
trump messed things up hard but the us were able to do so on an international level just fine without him.
as a German, wholeheartedly: No! ... it was red before and after ... and I mean all of Europe ... Nixon, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Trump ... this unintentional sitcom had more bad episodes than good ones and should have been cancelled long ago ... especially the current season is bad written, dystopian nonsense ... you really feel, that the authors have run out of ideas ... people get shot in the ear and emerge unharmed in the next episode ... paint is peeling off the backdrops ... 1/10
I'm by no means an expert in India, but what I've heard is that it's fairly conservative, their leader has gotten more dictatorial, they aren't the only country in South East Asia that struggles with misogyny, and we know there are a lot of scammers in India so they probably participate in a lot of the misinformation spreading and social media influence campaigns.
I can understand India and Pakistan being lobotomised by their great governments.
What I don't understand is how Americans are green.
I mean magats should be ashamed for living in a country filled with illegal aliens who eats cats and dogs, and the rest should be ashamed of living in country led by magats...
Greenland is often counted in Danish polls. When it's ever counted. Too few people living there for proper data, tho' I don't doubt it would be a flashing red.
I like the way this says the whole world hates us, and the regime isn’t even slowed down a little bit in its march to harm allies, and impose fascism. It’s almost like standing around giving voice to grievances doesn’t matter to ruthless capitalists.
It is heartbreakingly sad, but we should move forward acknowledging the truth: the orange turd did win the popular vote in 2024. 77,302,580 to 75,017,613. If you don't vote, you don't count; these numbers would have gotten him back in office even if the electoral college had been done away with. For comparison, he lost in 2020, 74,223,975 to 81,283,501.
Without the electoral college, it is not spelled out in the Constitution if a presidential candidate would win for most votes received, or for 50% + 1 of all votes received.
I would hope, that in the future when the electoral college is gone, that it becomes 50% plus one.
India has been governed by a fascist party with majority popular support for more than a decade now. The BJP is the political wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, the world's largest right-wing paramilitary organization.
Thanks, I was stumped on why India would still view the USA in a positive light. Do you have any insight on whether the BJP has broad domestic support inside India?
Angel337
Fake News. I don't believe that. America doesn't have a favorable view of America.

Trump sucks. He will go down in history with the likes of Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Pol Pot, and of course his boss, Putin !

To be accurate MILLIONS of U.S. citizens also share that opinion

I feel like India should be red too: https://www.hindustantimes.com/world-news/confidence-in-trump-sinks-among-indians-as-unfavourable-views-of-us-hit-record-high-101782518189274.html

I'm pretty sure you could turn Greenland red in the after Trump map.
Andersen81
And Russia should be green, they are pretty much walking all over him.
unfortunatelynotdeadyet
Yeh, I don’t think we need an official poll, to determine their feelings about the US right now.
TheGhostofElizabethShue
and every pollster who goes to greenland mysteriously disappears. Apart from that one time when they were very unmysteriously eaten by a polar bear.
loSpaceHero
also usa should hopefully be red. as in the majority of usians are against the bs going on. hopefully. but i believe
GoneThenBackAgain
Indeed
LaffertyDanie1
Having an unfavorable view of the government and the country are two different things
BuckRavers
Hmmm, I'm curious what year this was taken, cuz if it was in the last 8 months or so I bet the USA would be red too.
RatOnnaStick
It’s hard to please Israel I guess…
OMFGWhatHaveWeDONE
And the US should be Red. A majority of Americans are embarrassed too.

Trump is delivering what his boss Vladimir wants

That’s still seems like a lot of green for the United States

Cuba had a positive opinion of the US?

This might be going back to Obama, who pushed for normalized relations and eased the restrictions we'd put on aid, travel, etc.

This is going to have to become a future metric: BT and AT.

Should the US itself REALLY be green?

Anyone not Green will be arrested?

We should be brown as he is shit and everyone else is shitting

The title on the graph says global opinion. The United States is part of the globe or the planet Earth so yes, it should be red.

North and South Korea agree on something. So do India and Pakistan. I think Trump is uniting the world.

Gee when you mix red and green don’t you get sh/t brown? Seems more appropriate for the current regime.

Too bad over half of eligible voters didn't bother to do so and had a large hand in ushering in the current state of the country.

He's never won the popular vote. So more than half hates him. The US should also be red on this map.
