I'm a nerd who once briefly worked for NASA but is now unable to work due to disability. most of my very limited energy goes towards my 17 year old twins, 2 dogs, and 4 cats - all adopted. I recently had neurosurgery and am starting to get better! It'll be a long road to recovery, but I am walking it.
That's a fair assessment. I never argued with her on it, but i never understood.
Long before covid my nephew died of the flu. He had gotten the flu shot that year. My mom, his grandma, got angry and didn't get the flu shot for years. She was a nurse. She knew the stats on effectiveness. She knew he would have died with or without the shot and possibly faster without it. It wasn't until her hospital started requiring it of nurses that she got it again. I still don't understand her logic. Why blame the shot? It tried.
As long as they keep popping out babies. That is all they exist for. 😕
