Yeah, and Biology actually did the opposite of disproving "Adam and Eve" While eve likely did not exist in the way the bible portrays her, there is a biological theory known as "Mitocondrial Eve" stating that all humans are decended from a common mother, due to all humans sharing the same mitocondria (a trait that is always inherited from the mother)

Understandable. I believe optimism though is something humans have been lacking. Regardless of if their takes are overly optimistic, I think it is just as harmful (if not more) to decide "We are all going to die, so what's the point of even trying?" And my interpretation is that Kurtz' take is not that EVERYTHING will be fine; they even say as much. Things are indeed bad and to the point where we will not be able to stop many catastrophes that are headed our way. Gotta save who we can though.
