Love the sunflower! My favorite flower is the humble little pansy, but sunflowers always make me feel like all is right with the world when you see happy sunflowers swaying in the breeze.
Meanwhile, journalists can use a word with heavier weight, while we wait for society/language evolution to increase the stigma of the word. We can blame the broken education system all we want, the journalists are still using euphemisms for something that shouldn't be sanitized
Fully agreed, but for now, "settler" still has positive connotations in English, where "invader" does not. Words fuckin matter and Journalists should use the correct words, not fuckin sanewashed euphemisms.
I'm at 145 days! haven't hit every single daily goal every day, but have gotten a couple of them every day (mostly the small wins like "get out of bed" and "take daily meds" LOL)

Mine made mistakes, but the one prevailing thing I know for absolute certain is that both of them loved me dearly and would do anything for me. I miss them so damned much sometimes. Any trauma they have caused me in their ignorance as they raised me, has been forgiven because I know they never intended any such thing. But i also know I'm very lucky, I had a very good relationship with them.
Freed from caring for kittens, she gets to be baby now. Yay for Natasha! Here's to a long life as someone's beloved lap-pet!

Yeah UTI is much better than bladder stones. Glad for her sake! It sucks to be uncomfortable, but an infection is so much easier to treat than actual bladder stones!
