So, tiny octopus has been craving chicken parm, and he decided to get some delivered, because he's allowed to be lazy.
And Zuppa Toscana is delicious. Fight me.
And chicken fingers for lunch tomorrow? Yes please.
This is what he got delivered.
It's not even someone else's delivery. It's a car-side to go order, which means they gave the driver the wrong bag.
And when tiny octopus called the store, they just gave him a refund. Didn't offer to remake it so he could pick it up. Didn't offer to have it redelivered. Just, eat some salad, you fatso.
Okay, they didn't say that, but in tiny octopus' hangry state, it was implied!
Ugh.
Tiny octopus is gonna go to the store tomorrow and get chicken and breadcrumbs and parm and make his own chicken parm. With blackjack and hookers.
Okay, probably not because the tiniers will be there.

My nephew makes a kid's cheater version using frozen breaded chicken strips, a jar of Newman's Own marinara, add some parm & shredded mozzarella. Is it Nonna approved? No. But with some linguine and garlic bread it's pretty dang good. If the tiniers are so inclined, it's a doable weeknight dinner.

Thanks now i Want a chicken parm or chicken marsala. God I would kill for a half way Italian American restaurant near me. Only have Fazoli's which is the American KFC/90's McDonald's of Italian American aka complete dogshit. 10+ pizza places (chain and local) and that's it for Italian

I read the whole thing and I'm SO sorry. I never get delivery. The likelihood that something will go wrong is 100% and it's SO expensive.
I've worked in many restaurants, I know how this goes. I've never worked in fast casual dining like OG, but I cannot imagine that they're putting more attention to detail than my fine dining establishments were. Still, it's so frustrating to spend so much money to pay for delivery and be so mishandled. I hope you're able to rectify it!

The sauce does come with like, 8 or 12 breadsticks. Tiny octopus likes to freeze them and then when he's craving a carb, he warms them up in the oven, wrapped in foil with a little extra garlic butter
