Worse, phone cameras do increasingly more processing to make "better" images so they can introduce their own artifacts that look like AI - soon it will be nearly impossible to tell the difference between AI generated images and just plain phone processing.

I asked my doctor about it, he said he didn't recommend fully unsedated colonoscopy, but was willing to go with light sedation instead of propofol anesthesia, so I did that. It was fine, just some minor discomfort and I indeed get a guided tour of my colon by the doctor. They snipped a couple polyps, but I didn't feel it at all.
