An interesting idea; at what point are variants on a fictional character different characters? Is it the same character because they share a common source, or do they become different characters because of the different actions and events the part take in? Are Superman and alt-world Evil Superman the same character?
Would the updated version of this be to liberate Gaza? It seems like if there was a god (who, for some stupid reason, couldn't fix the situation on their own), they would want their followers to stop the genocide

I post this because it seems people bash on the Bald Eagle for being the mascot America chose, but it's not their fault. America happened to pick a pretty cool bird, but they just don't understand why it's cool
Counterpoint: Bald Eagles do have a lot of substance to them, and America needs to embrace their true personality. Bald Eagles aren't interested in being the baddest birds in the world. They're far more interested in chilling in the beautiful North America wilderness and fishing all day. On a plus side, they embrace having a goofy side to them and enjoy being a bit silly. Imagine if America was actually chill like the Bald Eagle

Honestly, this seems like the goal. If the US market is isolated by the rest of the world, then the GOP can hold that up as proof of everyone else being the enemy. It's what they've done time and again. Break something, then use the fact that it's broken to "prove" that it can't work and demonize it. Then their supporters will be like "trade with another country? Are you a communist? That's what the liberals want, and we all know it doesn't work!" It's so fucked
