Those dudes are legends, and the ladies as well, Wynette, Cline, Wells. But, yeah, I stopped listening to country on the radio the day I was tuning through the stations and the same song was playing on the country station, and the two top 40 pop stations.

I've always said that the original Jurassic Park is way overdue for the "dark gritty reboot", and all they would have to do is follow the original book. It's absolutely terrifying, just about everyone dies, the kids kill Grampa, and Dr. Grant is a serious badass who fights raptors with his brain, in hand to claw combat basically towards the end of the book. Oh, and Dr. Satler is his student, not his partner, she's a paleobotanist badass all on her own..
In The Mouth Of Madness, one of Carpenter's not so great films, he was making some weird ones around then, like Ghosts Of Mars.
Time to re watch my favorite Sam Neill double feature, Event Horizon and.....

In New Mexico, it's a pick-em-up truck, probably elsewhere, but I'd always see an ancient desert faded Chevy or Ford rolling down the highway with one maybe two folks in the cab, and a half dozen Navajo or Hopi or whoever, wrapped in traditional blankets riding in the open bed.
