This has never happened to me, it makes one bounce and enters the 6th dimension with a 1 in 5 chance of actually reappearing.

Same but in the bottom of the foot.

That's what happens with the last buck in the wallet as well

My bank account after bills, college tuition payments, car payments, phone payments...

And that one lego piece you JUST saw 10 times when you didn't needed it.

Expected his ghost to be watching his corpse on the floor, crushed beneath the microwave.

4 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As I understand it, this is the exact reason it's someone's job to point at a person that has fallen overboard.

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can confirm.

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Magnets help.

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It will appear under your heel when you are snarfing down a midnight snackski. Kind of like a leggo unleashed

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Okay, so it's not just me.

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I stopped trying to look (as I'm usually contorted in some odd position that prevents me from seeing where it lands) and have adapted to listening where it last hits the floor and searching that area.

4 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Same. But some get some damn good bounces to them. Grr

4 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sometimes things get too many bounces and get sign and “I’ll find it later”

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A sigh* not a sign

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You tried your best. :)

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Very relatable

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Screw are in fact sentient, and love fucking with us.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do they still even sell screw tips that aren't magnetic?

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

spiteful bitches

4 weeks ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Don't worry you find it when you're mopping and it leaves a nice long scratch in the floor.

4 weeks ago | Likes 133 Dislikes 1

Or when enterin the kitchen sleepy at night barefoot

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I usually find it with the pad of my foot.

4 weeks ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 0

It has skittered underneath the open door and wedged itself between the bottom of the door and the floor and yeah that is going to leave a mark

4 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And it’s gonna make a naassty sound when you move the door

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or you step on it during your late night shredded cheese run...

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just to reappear after the job has been finished.

With or without using a new screw.

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's ok, you'll find it with your foot next time you're not wearing shoes

They forgot to show where he goes to get a new screw from the drawer, as to fix the squeaky drawer, but is out of lubricant, so tried to go to the store, but the car needs an oil change... Oh! And when he FINALLY gets back to the kitchen, he steps on the screw and has to go to the ER to have it removed, then the ER bill bankrupts him and he loses the house to the mortgage company. He's totally SCREWED.

Was there really never a time when he could have started cooking meth?

4 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Measuring tape with a magnetic tip. You don't even need to get down. Will not work with stainless hardware. Source- I clumb ladders a lot and drop screws a lot.

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I work in commercial aircraft and have dropped hardware from the top of the tail...amazingly often you can see where it lands, but by the time that you descend to the ground, it grows legs and runs away

That .....MF Screw.....

Best way to find it is to not be wearing shoes and give up - two seconds later you'll step on it.

Use a flashlight and lay it on the floor. Rolling its beam across the floor and look for the shadow of the screw on the wall.

Use a rubber band to loosely cover the nozzle of your shop vac with a rag, and vacuum away

4 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My mother always, always, always dropped her earring backs, I don't need the flashlight trick, my allowance was based on me learning tiny object hunting skills from toddlerhood on, and yes, we had avocado shag carpet thanks for asking, just made me train harder =]

You assume it still exists in this reality...

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Where the Thrush Knocks 3 times.

4 weeks ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Sounds like my love life, Shadow of the Screw

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That’s brilliant. My brain already forgot it. Something about spinning a flashlight on the floor like a dreidel?

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or a lightsabre

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Genius!

As you lay your head down upon the floor, you gaze your longing eyes for the shadow on the wall, fingers slowly start to emerge from the shadows on the floor https://media4.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPWE1NzM3M2U1cjR1YmJzM21weno4ZWswem5mYnF1NnJtbHE5eXdrd3RwZDhsZW4waSZlcD12MV9naWZzX3NlYXJjaCZjdD1n/3oKIPikXXxzs8MFFO8/200w.webp

Hell yeah, I've had a good run

4 weeks ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

To the window, to the wall.

4 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Can they pass the screw?

4 weeks ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

They can...

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Okay, WILL they pass the screw, please?

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Telescoping magnet stick would help here.

4 weeks ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Or just a magnet on the end of a yardstick - I have a magnetic note holder in my tool set that has so many uses.

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

K but a yardstick won't fit on your tool belt or in your pocket for unexpected use and would likely require breaking line of sight to grab.

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Then your tool belt and your tool pants suck.

The ADHD banishment ritual. You have a thing. You place or drop the thing. As soon as you lose sight of it, it no longer exists. Screwdrivers, phones, wallets, keys, trinkets, medicine, clothes, doesn't matter. All gone.

4 weeks ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

My self confidence...

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My ADHD costs me so much money, because I'm always replacing stuff I lost. Upside: Eventually, I'll have duplicates.

3 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sound off if you've ever spent ten minutes looking for your glasses without realizing you were wearing them.

4 weeks ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Or on top of your head

4 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I left home to go to swim class, forgot my headphones, went back to get them, searched for 15 minutes making me almost late, and then realized I was wearing them. Rushed out, arrived on time, forgot my flipflops for the 3rd time
