I laughed when I read about what trump said. He really has no idea how big the forests are.

My cat has taken to flopping onto my keyboard...

I imagine it feels kinda neat but it is mightily inconvenient.

He gets scooped up and forehead kisses as punishment (he doesn't seem to mind).

A black or white cat named Zero is on my shortlist. Though I have never sought a cat, they kinda just happen to me.

I used to work in the kitchen at a rehab, cooking for vegetarian/ vegan clients was always an interesting challenge.

God, I love stupid names for pets. Also people names for pets, and then if you know a human with that name you call them "Human Nigel" or whatever.

I would also add just being kinda dumb and oblivious to what im not directly focused on... thats also a factor. So added up, if you flirt with me, there's a 15% chance ill catch on.

I could tolerate the ugliness of the cyber truck if it was any good at being a truck, but all the reviews and press suggests it isn't a very good truck, its not even that good for city driving. Just very expensive and kinda shit at everything.

There was also a bunch of luxuries on board. They had a piano... a specially made "lightweight" piano (nearly 400 lbs).

A more economic but still comfortable experience could be achieved.

Fair enough. Though TT has another side i dislike, (same as alternate reality stuff) is often the conclusion has no consequences. They just muck about in a different timeline/universe for a bit and come home and nothing was gained or learned, very little character growth if any... its like having the main character wake up to find its all been just a dream. It goes for all stories really, I just feel like TT is the worst offender and often gets a pass.

It CAN be ok. Like if the the plot centers around the protagonist trying to prevent a thing from happening, only to realize their future self is one doing the thing, and them slowly realizing its necessary/ inevitable in some way. Tricky to pull off in a satisfying way though.

Thats why I hate time travel stories. I will skip any books by authors I otherwise enjoy or tv shows I love (looking at you "startrek") if its about time travel.

Its almost always lazy and boring story telling where they cause a problem with TT and fix it with more TT...

My mom bought me a vhs copy for my birthday. She found it at a thrift store for a couple bucks and just thought it was kinda funny. Legit one of my favorite birthday presents ever.

I used to work with a guy from Glasgow who was kinda freaked out by the fact that I carry a pocket knife. I guess when firearms are much more difficult to aquire knives are the next best conceal-able weapon used by gangs and such.

It was a strange culture shock moment. to me just a tool I use all the time, but to him it was foremost a dangerous weapon meant for hurting people.
