THIS is one of the.main reasons I happily pay my taxes here in Europe... But still, even with all these warning signs from the states, private health insurance is on the rise here too... Rooted in egoisme and "me first" mentality. And private health care is also subsidized by the state here, as a means to cut waiting lines, without having to have the responsibility of hiring and firing...

Graphite is a weird material... It cuts like play-doh, can be extended, but at the same time, the strands are strong enough to not elongated when they are held in one end...
Maybe... Just maybe, they would weigh in the next person, while one was on the seesaw, and maybe... Just maybe, they would have a system like a synthetic, automatic subtraction-addition Machine, that could tell precisely how much weight to add or remove for the next person. Probably faster than the time it would take for some grumpy twat to stop bitching about the wait time, and strap themselves in.

Well, here in Denmark, teeth are only covered when you are a child (and some of it until 25) it is a matter often contested here.
Funny, I often wondered about these 'perfect' teeth, that so many Americans flash about. Even with braces, it is hard to make teeth THAT perfect. A fine example of what should NOT be covered by universal health care.
The only thing universal healthcare is going to fuck up, is the insane profits of pharma and insurance companies. While there may be a slight decrease in employment for those who work for these vultures, but my best would be, that the real health industry, hospitals and such, will grow and hire. As long as there are reasonable people (and that might be the real issue) setting boundaries for what is considered medical 'needs', and not vanity needs, my best is, that it will work fine.
It's even worse that that 'that that' that that first poster was on about could be even longer...

Or watch Handball... Both men's and womens'. Lots of i fighting (but also good refs, so it's mostly with bounds) and no snowflake soccer players whining at every little touch... In pro Handball, if someone looks like they are hurting, they are.hurting BAD, because if you have to leave the court due to medical, you get a time penalty before you can go back in.
Better yet, watch some Vinnie Jones (yes, THAT Vinnie Jones) or Eric Cantona... There was no holding back back then...
I am genuinely shocked at how many people in here, are afraid to answer their own front door... Either I love in a really peaceful country, or I am just naïve... I hope it's the first one. Here, it is illegal to sell stuff door to door, unless you are a registered charity. Oh yeah, and almost no one has guns....
