My paternal grandfather died of Multiple System Atrophy, and now my dad has it as well. I've often said that the man who was my Grampa died several years earlier, it just took a long time for his body to catch up. It's so horrible to watch that happen to people you love. I hope my dad can hang on until Christmas so he can meet his grandchild, but after that a quick, painless end would be the best for everyone.

I can't comment on whether a markup of that much is justified, but there IS extra labor going into shucking, cutting, and packaging that corn. Even if it's all done by machines, there is the maintenance of the machines, the electricity to power them, and the material costs of the packaging that are all now added expenses that the supplier has to consider. That is why pre-prepped produce of any kind costs more.

Probably not that particular owl. That looks like a Long-Eared Owl, they're about the size of a crow: only get to about 16 inches long and generally weigh less than a pound. Their primary diet is small rodents. Now Great Horned Owls have been known to take cats, but they're significantly larger: up to 25 inches long and generally 2.5 to 3.5 pounds, though they can get up to 5 pounds.
As others have said, airflow, but also some cats get very distressed by being shut away in a room completely by themselves. Just being able to see other cats/humans through the mesh can keep such cats much calmer.
For anyone who really enjoys content around trinkets and such I highly recommend looking up Emily Dubious on the various socials. She makes videos of going beachcombing around the UK and she gets delightfully excited over buttons and bits of sea glass.
The one time I went to a gun range, a guy set up on the aisle next to us, got his gun all assembled and loaded, and THEN decided he wanted to be down a few aisles. So he just picked up his full-loaded gun and started casually strolling down to the other end.Even with my hearing protection, the RSO's rebuke was startlingly loud.
The "cheetah ranch" part makes them sound like Hap Shaughnessy. "I was head foreman on a tiger ranch!"

I do remember back during the Dubya administration, being over at my grandparents' house one day when he came on the TV. My lifelong Republican grandmother, who never had a negative word to say about anyone, saw him on the screen and very derisively said "Oh, that man. All he does is smile."
They are but my experience has been that shoe sizes are no longer as standardized between brands as they used to be.
