Protests HAVE to be sustained to work. They know most people will cave and just hope everyone else keeps it up for them. They need to know people mean it and that ONLY happens with sustained tactics. The Montgomery Bus Boycott lasted over a year. If they only protested for a week (even a month…even 6 months), then went back to riding the busses, nothing would have changed. Massive multinational corporations can wait you out, unless you REALLY prove to them they can’t—and a week won’t do that.
A one week one? Abso-fucking-lutely nothing.

Less draw weight is less power. Weird to say it is better overall because it is less powerful.Neither is “better” than the other. They were each designed to meet different needs and each meets the needs it was designed to meet pretty darned well. It’s apples and oranges.
Just as much of what we know today will need correction in 40 years time.

Most of it is grossly over-simplified, but that’s what some people need (I wouldn’t describe star formation as gas just one day randomly deciding to “pull itself together,” for example).

#12 Everyone disagrees who is really shaking the jar. This cause them to all see one another as enemies or trying to protect the jar shakers. We all fight, regardless.
Don’t forget, from their point of view, he doesn’t lie and was “unfairly” prosecuted.

Or what? We’ll vote them out? They know we won’t. A couple of years ago they had the lowest approval rating ever—and the incumbent reelection rate was still 96-97%.
Let’s be honest, though…they were never going to spend that money on healthcare or infrastructure.

Quite the opposite. They pushed back on EVERY “protecting kids” law and policy. They can surveil them just fine without the laws.
