in big batches, as much as your largst pot can hold. If you want meat to it fry up some sausages, hamburger patties or a steak if you can afford it, that takes about 10 minutes to do the meat and while you do the meat you can heat up the pepper/tomato sauce with the rice next to it or in the microwave.

So in total from start to finish actual work is not more than 30 minutes, you can stream a show episode next to it what you would have done anyway and once done have multiple meals.

I really don't think so. For example i make something called Satars, well known on the Balkans and into Turkiye. It's chopped up (red) Bell Peppers, tomato sauce ( either from the can or chopped up tomatos) and chopped onios. Prep time depending on skill and volume about 20 minutes, fry this all up in a big pot until it softens, pour in the tomato sauce, top off with some water and let it cook down a bit.

Cook up some rice and you have a healthy meal that doesn't take much and you can cook 1/2

I wonder how Tattoo artists get over their initial training when a woman like this asks for Tattoos to avoid getting aroused until routine sets in and they can tattoo penis and vaginas the same as an arm or shoulder.

I will never understand how showrunners who have written 9 seasons with these characters completely miss their own show and believe the aired ending was a good idea.

It took a massive dump on everything they built up and have shown - Ted and Robin simply don't work long term, they took multiple seasons building Robin and Barney, changed Barney's character ( for the most part), lucked out so much with the chemistry brought by Cristin Milioti and threw it all away in 2 minutes at the end.

Imagine the crab's dread being lowered slowly to that tentacled monster bit by bit and being unable to do anything about it.

unemployed for a year and had no choice, even lost some weight as a side benefit.

The main obstacle simply is time investment and the work you need to put in but if batch cook even that, over time, saves ypu effort and time when you just pull out something from the freezer the night before and just have to heat it up.

Yes they are but if you cook from fresh ingredients in the end you will still be cheaper eaven if you account for electricity and condiments for example.

Now you don't need to buy the expensive imported produce, basics like beans, tomato, potatoes, peppers, rice, pasta are so extremely versatile and affordable that with some knowledge and time investment you can save a ton of money when compared to processed foods and eating out.

I have done it ages ago when i was forced to because i was 1/2

You forgot the civilian detail of money concentrating in the hands of a few Spartan families, leaving too little for normal Spartans to actually buy full citizenship - sounds vaguely familiar, doesn't it?

This looks like an "inventor" from a movie came up with it, kinda like a Doc Brown contraption. Looks cool but when you think even a litle about it from a practical and realistic point of view it just is more hassle than a time and effort saver.

By raw GDP it is.

If you factor in other indicators or get a more philosophical approach it sure isn't.

One thing is for certain - it is not the best country to live in by many metrics.

It was an open secret, everybody assumed it was him until he felt secure in the success of the movies that he finally admitted to it.

I'll start believing a year in or so when some good journalists take stock of his actual accomplishments that can be measured. Right now everybody is surfing high on Mamdani but i want to see hard numbers and facts and see a comparison between his claims and what actually happens on the streets.

He had a plan, it was just a predictably shitty plan.

Well, he campaigned long and hard to make a true Deadpool movie and not the travesty that was in Wolverine. He was denied time and time again until he leaked the test footage online ( he admitted to it ages later after the 2nd movie i think).

You don't go to these lengths if you are just lukewarm about a project.

Looney Tunes was never big in Germany when i grew up ( born 75) but Tom & Jerry was.

That violence was hilarious to me and still is to this day.

I don't even think they put it to chance that a fly by burning arrow would ignite gas, it would be too dangerous and uncontrollable.

I think they had a normal firestarter installed and just timed it well enough to let the gas flow and ignite just as the arrow passed.

That was my experience too, the cheek and mouth were numb for a few hours, maybe some very small sagging but that was it.

Some of these people looked like they were in a horrible car accident with heavy nerve and muscle damage.

US dentists must be doing something way different because i have never seen people's faces deformed after localized anesthesia. Looks funny though, kind of like DC's Two Face :D

Pulling wisdom teeth is no joke though - when i had to do mine i pray to good my dentist had really good anesthesia and i only felt some pressure and heard a bit of crunch when they came out. The bitch part was later though when the anesthesia wore off and the actual pain came.

IF, and i really mean IF, the US pulls back from the brink and elects a sane government again all those organisations that were practically killed by Trump and his goons will hopefully be part of a massive clean up and they will get to tell how they were systematically forced out to make way for this bullshit.

Trump always complained that everything is a witch hunt, well - this may actually be one where they hunt down every last one of these criminals and bring them to justice.

To everybody thinking about food safety for the meat inside - this thing is massive but it'll sell within the day.

Kebab/Doner/Shawarma places know their customers and make/order these in appropriate sizes that should sell within a day and leave little if anything at all.

If that place thinks they need one that size it must be popular and in a busy street, probably both.

If they are indeed transporting sea animals i hope they are extremely well secured because that truck is not driving slowly. Inertia is a bitch and i fear injury to the animals may be unavoidable no matter how well you secure them.

Get yourself a hawk, falcon or owl into the area, should clear the problem soon enough.
