I have a penchant for ignoring "best by" dates. Like by years, some times. I think my yeast, like a parrot, had expired. The bread mix was most likely well past any date as well. Latest example was eating a pack of bacon I found in the fridge drawer that was from April. I do not throw away or waste any food.
I get what you are saying, but as a fellow dumb-ass I made a loaf very, very similar to this one pictured. It was so bad, that when I threw it away into the neighbors horse pasture, the horses ignored it. Birds ignored it. Insects passed on the opportunity. It sat in a pasture for at least a week before it dissolved into the earth.
Torx FTW. Not even a contest anymore. Roberts are close, but not widespread enough. Shitcan all the rest.
I am no expert on ocean going tankers, but these all seem to be sitting way high on the water. I am guessing that they are mostly empty so as to limit collateral damage?
Wasn't the point of the tunnel scam to literally derail efforts by CA to build high speed train transportation? Wasn't his vision "oh yeah high speed rail is nice, but wouldn't my vacuum tunnel that was twice as fast be way more neat?" Then he distracted the lawmakers just long enough to get what he wanted, then killed the tunnels after only a few test runs. At least they made a commercial flame thrower thingy. https://www.boringcompany.com/not-a-flamethrower
Exactly. At this very second, in my electric grid SE-3 Stockholm, 1430 hours, we are 61% nuclear / 10% hydro / 24% solar / 2% wind / 3% other (elbruk.se/timpriser). Our local incinerator with two loops reaches maybe a potential of 30% of households (guesstimate). A ton of my neighbors still heat mainly with wood, even those living on the edge of town. This article feels nice but feels somewhat overstated. I wish it were true.
Source? I live here, and I hope that this is true, but "half of the homes" but sounds like bs. Half of the homes maybe in a concentrated urban environment, but out here in the countryside, we have a pretty limited access area for that type of fjärrvärme access. The only place I can possibly think that might be this efficient is Växjö which built specifically for future climate and energy needs, but even then, sounds a bit optimistic. Need more info.
I got that done 2x about six years ago or so. Your incision site is about 25% of the size of mine and looks to be healing well. Mine goes from the base of the R ear, down to the same level as you, then horizontally like yours all the way R to L. I guess I had some lymph nodes they went fishing for. Looks good though. You probably got the extra spicy iodine (radioactive) coming your way soon. I had that 2x as well; plan for it like a spa trip. Bring snacks, laptop, order pizza. It's all good.
Since no one else here has ever stepped up to claim that they have a special interest in Osthyvel (Swedish), I am going to claim the mantle. The correct type of osthyvel is dependant on the relative hardness of the cheese. I prefer Eskilstuna made hyvla from the 70s, but the correct model is hard to find. Here is the recommended Osthyvlar for 2026. https://www.testkollen.se/basta-osthyveln-jamforelse-guide-till-osthyvlar-bast-i-test
I have invested maybe max 6 hours since the debut. I made a little sea side shack, decorated it a bit, and left it unlocked. Don't dislike it, but am putting way less time on housing vs the old pet collecting / leveling it replaced. As said by others, just trying to stay motivated / caught up in normal content is pretty time consuming.
Hejsan från Dalarna. För mycket jävla mygga just nu.
Cincinnati chili is not coney sauce. It is boiled, and depending on your allegiance, may or may not have cinnamon as a vital seasoning. Blasphemy even mentioning Cincinnati in the same sentence as a Detroit Coney. And I am not even breaching the spice preference debate. Families have split over the Gold Star / Skyline debate.
Oven roasted root vegetables for the win. Give me the beets / parsnips / rutabaga / sweet potatoes / carrots. Balsamic vinegar / honey / plain old rapeseed oil all win. Damn, I am hungry now.
The voters have the best opportunity to do something wonderful. I would absolutely vote for Binface.
It is never about screwing up, it is always about how you unscrew it. You made a mistake, recognized it, adapted, and in the long run, the impulsive purchase MAY (no guarantee), have been a good purchase. Impressive work, even without the "impulsive purchase."

Swedish media reports on how bad Zlatan and the rest of the Euro football commentators demean Lalas during the segments. Latest blow-up was today. https://www.expressen.se/sport/fotboll/zlatan-i-ordbrak-med-alexi-lalas-/ Earlier blow-ups https://www.expressen.se/sport/fotboll/landslaget/uppgifter-zlatans-brak-bakom-tv-kulisserna/ They don't seem to respect his on-field achievements.

All of the replies here are correct. They are common here in Sweden for new potatoes and they do suck to clean & waste space. Same effect, low cost, easier to clean - purchase a replacement toilet bowl brush that are for fancy toilets, stick it in the a drill motor, put your rinsed potatoes in a bucket of water, stick in the toilet brush, and let it rip. Exact same peeling in no time.
#12 I first read Camus when I was younger, say late teens / early twenties AND I FUCKING HATED HIM. The whole helpless, "external locus of control", fate, and so forth. Literally the author I hated most in university. But now thirty years on, I find myself thinking, "yeah, that tracks". I am so lost.
And Zydeco rules.
Nah, it's not an overt kind of bribery / corruption. It's more the conservatives that actually are in charge of things happen to live in the same neighborhoods as the people who govern things. It's the subtle bribery, more like influence. Their wives go to the same spa, kids are in the same school, they all golf at the same club. They just switch seats back and forth. Go along to get along.
I am going to do my part.
I stood for a No Kings when I was home in small town, NW OH. The response from passersby was normally neutral, but positive vs. negative was probably 3:1. The "1" was of course, the local MAGAtarians, rolling coal and revving their H-Ds while offering digits for inspection. Pathetic bunch actually.
Yeah, but they still got a foot in the door with OK Q8 as the "fresh" coffee at the gas station. Not very nice. Give me a Nordqvist Wanyama drip ftw.
I have been here 20 years now. "Real" ethnic foods from other countries can be tough to find, but I found that Swedish husmanskost really grows on you over time. It's acquired. A lot of the things I look forward to eating, I was not really in to at all when I first arrived. And there is some things that exist mainly as traditional and are being phased out by time. But food quality is excellent. I promise you it's 50x better than UK food.
Any way to put that on a Nothing 2a?
Spent five days in Sheffield for work and the food generally was atrocious. The hotel breakfast was a particular low point. The gin and tonics, on the other hand, were delightful.
