Starbucks has a very limited presence in Sweden because it faces intense competition from the country’s deeply rooted coffee culture and local chains. While the American brand initially attempted to expand broadly across the country, it has scaled back significantly, leaving only a handful of operational branches primarily clustered in Stockholm and major travel hubs.

There are currently only 3 Starbucks locations in Sweden.

Because Sweden has a deeply rooted "fika" (coffee and pastry break) culture with strong local chains, Starbucks hasn't seen widespread adoption in the country.

The remaining 3 locations are primarily convenience-based and targeted at travelers

Stockholm-Arlanda Airport (Terminals 5)

Gothenburg Central Station (Göteborgs train centralstation)

Malmö Central Station (Malmö train centralstation)

Starbucks is the Walmart of coffee. Destroy all local competitors. And then turn into low rate crap with under staff stores.

Same here in Finland. Only two Starbucks in Helsinki-Vantaa airport and one in Helsinki main railwaystation. Local shops and chains for the win!

Given Starbucks can't make a decent cup of coffee if their life depended on it, I'd say stick with the Swedish chains. They're more into sugary milkshakes with a slight coffee aftertaste.

I went to collage in Minnesota, only decent coffee in the US was at the Norwegian pavilion at Epcot Center, now live in Thailand...

And Swedes love their coffee strong, and i mean strong. And always a dark roast, what we call a medium roast is what other cultures would almost call burnt.
