GENUINELY... this fucking tweet should be evidence if we ever manage a trial for these bastards

There was only really ONE that was a career ending fuckup for anyone else so much as being an aviator in wartime just being dangerous

I think I saw that there have been claims approved now and then over the last ten years

Detained for WHAT? General vicinity isnt even good enough for Terry

And then instead of correcting the error they told him to stop drivn the car and keep it out of sight

Like GENUINELY... this would be a pretty reasonable employment law disincentive to be crazy with this shit. After 1 or 2 its considered working time and has to be paid at at least minimum wage...

Meh; she was also a genuine cofounder of Amazon and bears plenty of responsibility on that side.

Except for... most of them...

Who weren't

There's lot of money in at least the renewable energy side. It was even taking off pretty aggressively pre Trump 1.0... There's a hell of a lot more going on than the business of business being business.

So to be clear... this cop knew exactly what was going on, then gutter served an after the fact ticket?!? This isn't even REALLY about the law being shit any more so much as this cop being a little bastard.

Honestly?

I'd find it LESS suspicious than Epstein himself.

Give it a hundred years.

There's very much the possibility that the REAL issue is that the US has always BEEN one of those 'fastcist asshole countries', but was matter at keeping the mask on and found itself with a lot of goodwill from having been on the wright side of WWII.

Highly opinionated potato

I'd suggest that it NOT that this isn't normal... the problem is that it's far too normal.

"Fuck off" is a perfectly lawful response to these bastards.

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, they don't get to decide that. The 1st amendment allows a LOT of leeway, and this WASN'T a threat. THEY are the ones whose opinions need to be contained.

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They have NOT. But this HAS been happening, on and off, for decades now. Which is the problem with this kind of thing, even well intentioned it becomes a creeping ratchet toward more and more speech being grounds for investigation when an agency that is EXPLICITLY incentivized toward maximum caution and minimum risk is making the decisions. Never mind what happens with the current environment.

Nor do questions like "do you attend democratic events" like they asked in the last incident...

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Come on, he LITERALLY said that ILL WILL was going to be investigated as criminal. Ill will. Not threats. If that isn't prior restraint and political interference what IS

Serious answer is that the British don't have the kind of nuke that would be in any way operationally appropriate for us... but something we build WOULD be useful to them. There is a potential path to a mostly legal, mostly Canadian, deterrent that basically amounts to the RCAF being the host for the British tactical nuclear capability they have long abandoned.

How can you post this without Brosnan tearing into him for it?

Also try a grilled cheese with pineapple (preferably also grilled) in it.

Same as the bacon... I kinda suspect that adding pineapple to this as a burger just creates a pineapple sandwich (with or without cheese) while the beef disappears into the stronger flavours.

Drop the bacon and I'd be interested to see how much the maple changes it

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Honestly?

Doesn't need the butter, doesn't need the maple, ESPECIALLY if you're going to add BBQ at the end. They aren't contributing anything.

And personally I'd argue bacon burgers just dominate the whole damn thing. All I taste is the bacon, but I'll grant that part IS taste.

Right up to the day the flip side of plausible deniability gets somebody beaten up for looking suspicious by obnoxious coincidence. We really can’t tolerate that shit just because it feels good in the right case.

Yeah, with a near monopoly on advertising vertically integrated…

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They’ve got the tech, but not the business model. They are deeply intertwined with the porn producers, while Youtube struggles with profitability despite all the ads. at the end of the day the big problem isn’t that Youtube is some kind of natural monopoly or even especially monopolistic, but that video is bloody expensive

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That… is actually a genuinely good idea,

I fucking love the way that yelling about whether this shit is funny, stupid or dangerous makes the normally PAINFULLY over 'professional' pilot forums become completely unhinged.

Yeah, not even Canada has THIS much nonsense
