Hungry?

Jun 28, 2025 4:03 PM

I’ve been eating airplane foods all day. I can really use one of those right now. Or Pad Thai. Or tacos. Fuck airplane foods.

I was good until the mayo (or whatever that white shit was). Leave that off and I'll take 3. And a Diet Pepsi.

Mix in a buttload of pepper and a splash of Franks into that mayo and I am sold.

"Hard pass I don't like x" then look away fuckin hell. Why are you here? Why does the world need to know that YOU don't like it?? People, what a buncha bastards.

Knowing the USA is a break-away colony of England really explains their food.

I think I’m pregnant

Honestly?

Doesn't need the butter, doesn't need the maple, ESPECIALLY if you're going to add BBQ at the end. They aren't contributing anything.

And personally I'd argue bacon burgers just dominate the whole damn thing. All I taste is the bacon, but I'll grant that part IS taste.

To answer the question, no, but that has never stopped me before.

I appreciate the griddle is branded "Fennek", German for fennic. https://media4.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPWE1NzM3M2U1ZXlldG5kZmhiMWw5ZzlodTd3OGR4dWszN3NpZTJ6cGNmNXd4ZHFqZyZlcD12MV9naWZzX3NlYXJjaCZjdD1n/zMRB0OEsqJMiI/200w.webp

Well, it IS a German brand, after all.

Yes. The N's threw me for a bit since they look Cyrillic.

Am i the only person who doesnt like onions? Because sometimes i feel like i'm the only person who doesnt like onions

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Yes. You are the only person who doesn't like onions.

Yes, mayonnaise is super gross.

How does one unhinge his/her mandible to even get a bite?

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

You sorta open as wide as you can and drag your bottom teeth halfway through the food before closing off the bite. Napkins and a complete disregard for the judgement of others watching are required.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

HAHAHA! Noted 👍🏻

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The maple syrup seems unnecesary, to me. Onions caramelized in butter will already be fairly sweet, and there's bacon on this thing. Or, if you just want more color on them, they need time. A weight can also help.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Drop the bacon and I'd be interested to see how much the maple changes it

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Smash are over rated but i still you destroy it.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was on board until the Brioche came out.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Too much sugar, between the caramelized onions, the honey, and the barbecue sauce

1 year ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 2

Otherwise looks flawless

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Instead take the 20 minutes to caramelize the onions.

1 year ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Maybe add grilled jalapeños

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Too much mayo too. Thin layer, fine, but mayokkake amts are a nope.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Remember, if it's not a S M A S H burger then it doesn't technically count as a burger. According to reddit, anyway.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Eh, I don't see the appeal in mashing my burger into a pancake. Shape it before and cook it. No need to run it over with a steamroller.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I like all manner of burgers, each can have their place

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Smash burgers purpose is to get that crust, cooks faster, and when cooked will shrink to a manageable size. Normal burgers would shrink and be taller.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And that would be a matter of taste. I'm not a fan of a crunchy burger.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Super unpopular opinion: I'd rather have pinapple on my burger than cheese. (But all the rest he has can stay. Maybe add some tomato and gherkin or cucumber.)

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 7

well at least you know cheddar or american cheese is terrible with pineapple.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also try a grilled cheese with pineapple (preferably also grilled) in it.

Same as the bacon... I kinda suspect that adding pineapple to this as a burger just creates a pineapple sandwich (with or without cheese) while the beef disappears into the stronger flavours.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh, a grilled cheese with tomato and pineapple is one of my favourites - and I'll add a slice of ham, if I had the forethought to buy it.

Easy 1000 calories in one go

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Try at least quadrupling that. Maybe 5-6x

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Should roughly work out. 2 patties 250c each, 350c for brioche, 150c for bacon, 100c for buttered syrup onions, 150c for the cheese slices, another 150c or so for the condiments. Roughly 1400 calories for one, assuming full fat variants and rough estimations.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

If you add the oil and butter, you're closer to the 2000-2500 range. Delicious but easily two days worth of fat content. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Maybe. It didn't seem to be that much oil, or butte? , plus some of the fat won't make it into the food anyway, including the fat that rendered out. Unless that was a full quad stack burger then definitely. Just a healthy little snack anyway, heart attack grill would be proud! 😅
