Still trying to push this false claim I see. The CCP bot rides again. Find it both ironic and tragic that the only civilian casualties were ones the regime has not intentionally and unintentionally done themselves, including blowing up a girl's school with their own missile/explosive device.
So many red flags surrounding that incident including the fact it was the only site Iran cleared and they did so immediately over night in a panic.

The claims that the US investigated themselves and found themselves guilty is a false claim perpetuated by CCP propaganda and misinformation and a single American news outlet that mistakingly sourced its claim from Al Jazeera and Iranian state media following the attack. The New York Times recanted.

The NY time claim was recanted after the source was determined to be from Iranian state media and there never was a tomahawk missile video and the fact they're trying to say one now is another huge red flag. The initial claim was Iran found tomahawk missile scraps in the debris but it was determined to have came from the Ukrainian conflict courtesy of Russia. Iran has not allowed any investigations from the UN and its claims are only echoed by the axis of evil: Russia, China and North Korea.

I figured I might have misunderstood them as "not responsible" = "didn't do it on purpose" and figured I'd ask. It seemed to ridiculous that they would argue that someone else blew up the school at the same time as the US was conducting a massive bombing campaign.

In fact even the public ceremony following the attack was an egregious cover up as they did not give the parents back any of the bodies or allow them to be identified. Iran state media claimed to have buried them in graves and told the parents after. So many red flags.

The only sources making claims about this incident are coming straight from Factnameh, Iran's "fact checker" while they will not allow any outside investigations in particular from the UN. This is where all of the info on Wikipedia comes from: it's the only information we have but it's bad information.
This incident is also when they announced a mass grave funeral as a memorial for the event and every single grave was empty (and stayed that way) while "parents" never stopped walking by.

This is not a new thing. Before Trump was elected the *first* time, he was promising to murder more civilians as part of his platform ("you have to take out their families").
Once he gained power in his first term, civilian casualties in US airstrikes skyrocketed. His response to criticism was to order the Pentagon to stop reporting these numbers.

While they were absolutely doing that, that isn't what happened for the school. He fired the people in charge of making sure targets were up to date, Demanded a target list ASAP, then picked all of them instead of selecting the best targets. The school was a refurbished military location that was a valid target years(?) ago. And just never got updated even as surveillance before the strike clearly showed it was a school.

The manufacturer of the LUCAS drone had already developed a Shahed clone in 2019 for threat testing so US hardware could be tested against a Shahed analogue. There really couldn't have been that much to reverse engineer.
