Yeeeeah. This is just my experience from high school. Math wasn't huge in my further studies. My teacher was nice enough, and a veritable math genius. ...But not great at cracking these concepts up, at least not with this kind of a practical perspective.
Came here to say this. Didn't mean to be a shitty student and bitch about "we'll never use this". I wanted concrete examples of where the math was used, so I could conceptualize it! Not just... Oh, cool, a curve in space, that's now also rotating in 3D. Ok, but why? CAUSE MATH SHUT UP. Ok. Nobody cared to explain, for instance, that it could be used in, idunno, aerospace engineering or astronomy. Fuck.
This .. is eerie. I'm doing a fallout pbprpg. As a semi-sentient deathclaw character. Who got included into the party by a pale haired femme fatale with vampire vibes. And my character's horn was JUST chipped off in a fight. AND my friend from the game linked me that second picture!
Not even halfway there, just above the age where you no longer get free meals. Need to make this a habit. I don't want to spend all my waking hours on exercise and demanding activities, no, but enough that I on occasion can, for as long as possible. So lots of regular habits to form. Terrified of slowing down only to layer find out I can't speed up again...
Yeh. Makes me think about all the nipple twister type shit in junior high. Shit was way too accepted.

I hear Columbus in Ohio is better than the rest of the state? Asking since some trans friends of mine moved there to escape the south.
Got this temperature regulating, thin but heavy, summer duvet. It's made of mostly bamboo, and has these little capsules in it that absorb and give off heat. Deals nicely with sweat too. It and bamboo sheets have been a huge help. My partner didn't feel as helped by them, but maybe a bit.
Gritting my teeth at how many of these feel familiar just second hand. Love it when my family goes "so is X feeling better?" No. No she's not. It's *chronic*. And I swear to god, Mother, suggest your quack alternative treatment with zero scientific backing ONE more time and I'll get 10 cats and wov to never have offspring. "But surely she could just--", cue me suddenly holding like 12 knives. "She's tried the uderwater horse yoga, it doesn't help, medical science has ignored women for ages."

As a Finn, we still have arms deals with Israel, not sure our leadership would have the nuts for it... Kneeling for one tyrant to push back another is a shitty strategy. Besides, what's Russia going to do, attack NOW? They're busy. Best time to ditch Israel.
Wonder how the voices for these kinds of projects get picked. Always wanted to try auditioning for something like this, or heck, way more basic too.
How the hell do they figure it's safe? That that hole doesn't just casually also flow somewhere else where you'll just get stuck and drown? Man, even if it was just a fairly straight pipe, no way I'd do that shit. Any small chance of me somehow getting stuck and drowning in there is not fucking worth it. If I compare the risk to open water scuba diving, at least there I can sort of tear all the shit off and emergency surface, even if the bends might be really bad.
