So then when I think back and cringe at something I said or did, and feed ashamed or embarrassed about it, that's actually a good thing.

Being a robotic engineer I constantly deal with managers who don't seem to realize the difference between skill limits, practical work limits, hardware limits, and hard laws of physics. They would just ask me if we can make the speed of light faster.

What is really mind blowing is that for years a bunch of right wing people were going off about a secret cabal of rich and powerful pedophiles who run the world, and have secret organizations to steal and rape kids...and then we all found out they were absolutely right, and now they mostly want to ignore it because it turned out it was a lot of people on their political side doing it.

I thought he was always saying shit about how a real man doesn't need luxury or comfort and will not complain in any situation. Seems like he's complaining a lot about lack of comfort.

Now, cartridges like the switch uses can be different. They in theory could hold the memory for any size of game. But the larger games on switch 2 like DK bonanza are also often just a "Game card" that gives you access.

What I mean is that if the goal is that once you own the game you no longer depend on the company to maintain servers, this won't help. A standard blue ray holds 25GB, dual and triple layer ones can go up to 100GB. There are 128GB quad layer, currently not in any game system. For some size examples: God of War Ragnarök 190GB, Jedi Survivor 155GB, FF7 Rebirth 146GB, Baldur's Gate 3 150GB. They still act as an ownership token that depends on the company hosting the game.

ok, I agree with this in spirit. But most games these days don't nearly fit on any kind of disc media we have, so it's still basically a download key.

I feel like it's one of those things that complicated mostly by people wanting to layer a lot of complicated rules on to it, and then add a lot more complication by trying to either force those rules to be the only ones, or try to make them align with a reality they never matched to begin with. If you just let people be who they are you don't need to know every nuance. That's only needed if you're trying to judge them, and maybe if you're just really interested or want to date them.

One of the main rules of spider man seems to be that whether his hero work goes wrong or right, he always fucks things up for himself.

It's billionaires, they're a bit different from corporations. See the corporations make all the money, the billionaires don't "own" it so they can't get taxed, but they do control it. The corporations write the laws, then the billionaires direct the money the people in political office who pass the laws.

Now, this gets a bit confusing, pedophiles is a broader group that includes the billionaires and the politicians. The politicians and many of the people they're duping are fake Christians.

They accidentally create funny memes sometimes, they haven't accidentally governed well at any point.

He means that in any case. E.g. when he says a group "Hates America" he means they hate him. When he says "America loves this" or "America doesn't want that" he means that's how he feels about it.

At first saw the IPO and wondered if I should have stayed at SpaceX, they gave me a low ball offer with options to buy lots of stock. But the thing is it's just a chance to pre-buy, it isn't free. And employee stock has a lockout period that even now is still in effect. It this point if I'd stayed for like 10 years to get that payout, I'd be down $10 per share on the strike price they were asking.

Really it was probably pretty common it seems for an army to avoid battle entirely, withdraw when it realized it was badly outmatched, or break and run before much actual fighting occurred. Just like now, people don't want to die and casualties are costly, so usually for a battle both sides had to believe they had some reasonable prospect of success, or one side had no safe way to avoid it. It's hard to have certain numbers about this because avoiding battles isn't always recorded.

Yeah, but that seems like all the more reason not to care if the cast is different ethnicities.

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The reason is because trump is a big dumb egomaniacal crybaby bitch.

Well that's sort of my point, all the more reason to just cast based on talent and not worry about race, unless they are going to go really out of the way to cast all Greek people, or people from around that region.

Prologue "There was probably some fighting loosely like the Trojan war...for example localized trade and hegemony raids of the Late Bronze Age Collapse around 1200 BCE. So here's some scenes of a hypothetical skirmish between Mycenaean Greek coalitions and Anatolian principalities like Wilusa over access to the Black Sea." (fades and then slowly brings in next panel of text dramatically) "Hope you like battles that are mainly decided by one side seeing they are clearly outnumbered and leaving."

I think they're mad about race, which is stupid because ancient Greek people wouldn't look like European white people either, and they would have been fine if everyone was cast from them. If you look up "average Greek person" most of them are pretty tan, not black, but also not like your average white person.

Isn't that what's supposed to happen to rapists, and people who are involved in abductions, kidnapping, sex trafficking, and murder? It should have happened a lot sooner.

If its the same person I'm thinking of there would be so many people choosing him that he might collapse into a black hole. Which is even better because he hates people who are black.

Ironically they would have been fine with an all white cast even though European descended white people also do not look like ancient Greeks, the skin tone is likely closer to that of Zendaya than that of Charlize Theron. I mean if you image search for "average greek woman" they are often pretty tan.
