I'm curious if your reports looked at the sociological factors *outside* of prison. It's incredibly hard to get a job once you have a felony listed on your application. If you can't earn money, no matter how much you've changed, you're going to revert to whatever it takes to survive. Plus, when you get out, you're just dumped. No transition lodging or anything. That's a really rough landing for someone without strong relationships to lean on. Plus the world is totally different, etc. it's a lot.

Oh, get off your high horse and stop pretending like you know me and my motives. "The strongest punishments" ffs, You act like I'm demanding the death penalty. I never denied the benefit of rehab. Jail *should* be genuinely corrective. I don't know what studies you are referencing, but the prison hour radio station seems to have a number or folks sharing how they've seen a lot of rehab among their peers there. Maybe it's bulshit, but maybe it's not. I genuinely don't know.

That girl's brain could've been seriously scrambled in the altercation. I'm all for rehabilitation, but actions that can permanently alter or end someone else's life needs stronger consequences.
Soccer players often play that kind of bullshit, but not here. If you watch, you'll notice the black uniform girl hits her head on the ground. I think she's dazed, at best, but she looks more unconscious to me.

Can't speak for others, but the cheap way for me would have been to take my partners name during marriage. The long way (choosing my own), required filing a legal petition (which required lots of identifying documents), acquiring notification postings with specific content in a specific type of newspaper for 3(?) weeks, providing proof (and payment for such publication), attending the hearing, and then getting the approval.
It's sad to say I run across far more pedo issues in America these days than Werewolves. It's natural that it would be a concern.
Having them hanging *open* is a HIPAA violation. Bedside charts require "reasonable safeguards" be in place. A fully open chart does not count as taking reasonable precautions. Source: I support a hospital in preparing for Joint Commission visits.
I will find time to support others, when I feel they're being treated unnecessarily harshly. Time to look up random info, not as much.

I wonder how much that varies from market to market. I remember being devastated when I found out the Amish baked goods stand I used to buy from was doing that. They couldn't lie, so if you asked them, they'd tell you that they didn't make them directly. But you had to ask. Thankfully, most produce vendors I've run into at the 2-3 Chicago markets I go to are generally "local" (within 2 hr).
I love the initial intention. It does seem like he let the praise get to him and stole the show a bit. Parenting is such a human activity. It's so hard to get it right all the time. Hindsight is such a bugger. I wonder if this experience will teach his daughter or the other girls to feign fear/incompetence for attention or if it will serve as a lifelong reminder that community and love persist during our struggles and can help us through.
I relate so much. I never thought I'd make as much as I do now. My husband and I live very plainly. We're both homebodies and neither of us tend to spend much on hobbies or the like. And yet, faced with another possible living expense change, my husband and I had to scrub the budget to see where we could pull the difference from or if we'd need to find another source of income...
I was just going to say that age has finally caught up to me enough that I need the slowed down version. To all my tech-savvy IMGURians out there: "I need a hero! Holding out for a hero..."

We can't even have our charts in a. Readily accessible location because it *could* be seen someone who shouldn't see it. That said, our paper charts are damn near empty most of the time because, to many other people's points, no one uses paper anymore unless maybe it's a safety net hospital. McConnell is in no way going to a hospital that is small or poor enough to still be on paper. If they are using paper, it's because they want zero chance of anyone seeing what's happening.
This needs to be seen by more eyes.
