She should have been banned for life as well as been charged with assault.

5 years? LIFE!!

3 days ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 3

Fuck a ban. She should be in prison.

3 days ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

A soccer kick to a downed opponents head is banned in basically all combat sports that aren't some underground fighting league in a movie. It's insanely dangerous. This should come with some criminal charge too

3 days ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 0

A soccer kick to the head done by a soccer professional that trains to kick harder than the average person.

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not nearly long enough. Foul-play, then kicking the woman she just violently brought down in the head and then, for good measure, assaulting a player who tries to get her away from the victim. Criminal charges and lifetime ban from the sport, imo.

3 days ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

So first she does a sliding tackle to injure her, THEN she kicks her in the head unprovoked? Throw that bitch in jail.

3 days ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

I see two kicks, I say make it 10 years

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Umm, assault charges maybe? Jail time? Only a 5 year ban? WTF?

3 days ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 0

In the US, that's felony battery charges. Damn.

3 days ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

and an invitation to join ICE

3 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Should be in jail for 5 years

3 days ago | Likes 184 Dislikes 3

What was the the deal with the big girl coming up to challenge more of the black-shirt team? As if her teammate did not do enough.

3 days ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Trying out for the Argentinian team I see.

3 days ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Have there even been any repurcussions for the Argentinians? They acted like bullies, not athletes.

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Jail time. Professional footballer Duncan Ferguson was given a prison sentence for headbutting an opponent.

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't know Brazilian law, but I hope the DA pursues the most serious felony option available, whether it be aggravated assault or attempted murder. Let her try this shit in a Brazilian prison league.

2 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Will she also spend at least some of that five years in prison??

3 days ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Banned? How about jail time for assault?

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Time for criminal charges

"The Civil Police of the State of CearĂ¡ opened an investigation for bodily injury to determine the criminal liabilities arising from the assault."

She doesn't just kick her in the head. She does it twice. I know the video jumps but that's not an instant replay.

3 days ago | Likes 80 Dislikes 0

And she gets a right hook into the person who ran up to her to get her away

3 days ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

She even stops to consider what she is going to do first. 100% should be prison time for that.

3 days ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Her thought was "already got the foul, better make it worthwhile." Fucking psychopath.

3 days ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Sickening

3 days ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

This is the testosterone level Hegseth wants

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How is that not a permanent ban?

3 days ago | Likes 333 Dislikes 0

How is that not a criminal offense???

2 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Have we considered that the officials at that match might not have that authority? A lifetime ban is probably a decision made by the top officials of the league.

3 days ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 7

The officials at the match don't have the authority to ban someone for 5 years either. This was from league officials

3 days ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 2

5 years of no play is basically a life time ban. No one is gonna sign this girl up again due to this behavior and the gap in play

3 days ago | Likes 100 Dislikes 3

True. It's political b.s. to escape fault. Like money laundering, or being a U.S. republican.

3 days ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

Argentina might

3 days ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 1

Lifetime ban and a few decades in prison.

Did you make a type and meant to write 25 years in jail?

This likely requires a puffin, but I hate the altered framerate on these sorts of upscales.

3 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

UPGRADE!! (Thanks!)

3 days ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The old potato version.

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yo I'm not trying to excuse this behavior but is there any context? Did she just fly off the handle with no provocation? (No provocation justifies this) but like huh?? I'm CONFUSED and horrified.

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i can fix her

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

She realizes that she was on camera in front of hundreds of witnesses, right.

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I hope she also gets jail time. That's not something you only get a ban for

3 days ago | Likes 181 Dislikes 2

You're talking about a child. I'm not trying to excuse this awful behavior, but putting children in jail is a terrible idea, and you should feel bad for even suggesting it. Anyone upvoting this is a true asshole. Counseling and community service would be far more effective and much less likely to destroy the rest of her life. What the fuck is wrong with you?

3 days ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 57

Says the bitch that would be crying if they got kicked in the head, twice.

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If I'm right that's Lara do Nascimento Costa who is 22 years old. Not a child. But let's say she's underage. She'd still be old enough to understand why you don't kick a defenseless person in the head multiple times. Jail or juvenile detention would be appropriate for someone who could have killed or permanently injured another. Not life, but therapy isnt an appropriate consequence.

3 days ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

You should feel bad for saying ANYONE kicking someone in the head like that shouldn't be punished. Do us all a favor and never have kids. Don't even allow yourself around any.

3 days ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

Bad take. Go touch grass and look in a mirror.

3 days ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Sounds like you're wrong about it being a child and you're just making shit up

3 days ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Stfu dumbass. Actions have consequences.

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Punching someone in the face while ball is in play, 5 year ban.

Kicking a downed opponent in the head should be automatic lifetime ban plus jail time for attempted murder.

3 days ago | Likes 163 Dislikes 0

Its insanely reckless, but for attempted murder the bar in most courts states you need proof of intent. Just being angry and letting fly

3 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

alone wouldnt prove it. She would have to have told someone prior, or be screaming "die die" or something. It is criminal and jail is

3 days ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

possible on lesser charges , though.

3 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Attempted murder? No. Assault? Yes. A kick or two to the head isn't an attempt to murder. No matter how angry you might be at the video.

3 days ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 16

Is it the intent you're worried about? whether they were trying to kill them or not, kicking someone in the head COULD kill them

3 days ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Slapping someone COULD kill them too depending on underlying conditions. That doesn't count as attempted murder. Just because someone COULD die doesn't make it attempted murder. Go learn something instead of being the typical Imgurian moron full of idiotic feelings instead of actual logic.

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Many people in my country got sentenced to jail for kicking people in the head. It is way more dangerous as punching somebody, especially if you play soccer. https://www.dutchnews.nl/2013/12/appeal_court_upholds_eindhoven/

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Oh look another stupid Imgurian who can't read.

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

the only thing they're saying is it's not "attempted murder"....freakin relax guys jeeze

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Exactly. It's not attempted murder. It's assault for sure. She should definitely get in trouble but not for an attempted murder charge. People are too full of emotions anymore and instantly lash out so aggressively thinking that's perfectly fine.. it's what breeds people doing these things and saying these things. There's no logic anymore. Meanwhile if someone did this same thing to Trump these same Imgurians would be praising it and demanding more.. it's ridiculous and disgusting.

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I'd say it's a debatable difference. She obviously took a moment to think about her decision before she made it, then she chose to violently attack a downed player by kicking them in one of the most deadly places she could. Kicking her hard in the ribs? 100% just assault. Kicking her hard in the back of the head? It's easy to see how that could be attempted murder.

2 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's not a single combat sport that allows kicks to the head of a downed opponent because it is insanely dangerous. Skull fractures, damage to vertebrae are entirely within the realm of possibility. This would be felony assault minimum on the states, and if the downed girl was injured it's not a long walk to an attempted murder charge.

3 days ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

Rizin (and PrideFC before it) allows soccer kicks to the head of a downed opponent, in addition to stomps and knees.

3 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Please go learn charges. You won't but please do it. Also nobody said she shouldn't get in trouble so the whole first part of your comment is idiotic and unnecessary.

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 9

I'm plenty aware of how assault charges work because an asshole picked a fight with me and then pressed charges after he got his ass beat. Maybe you should go do some reading.

3 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Uh oh you got one experience. Clearly that makes you an expert on law. I have experience putting a bandage on. Does that make me a doctor? I have experience putting PCs together. Does that make me an expert on hardware?

3 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

Hi, I work for the department of corrections in my state.

That was an attempt on her life, even if the attacker did not realize it.

She absolutely needs assault charges at the very least, with more to follow as the victim's status is monitored.

2 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

That was not an attempt on her life. Not how that works. Don't care what you supposedly work for. It means nothing when the actual definitions of charges say otherwise. She would get assault charges then if the woman would die she'd get murder charges but without intention.
