IQ tests are culturally biased as different cultures emphasize different cognitive qualities, therefore the validity of a test isn't going to be adequate as it's impossible to remove all ordinal indicators of intelligence.
Moving/control of our bodies is a specific cognitive function so a culture that emphasizes athleticism would disagree with where that would rank with others.
Political ideologies have been correlated with concrete vs abstraction, not simple vs complex.
You can have complex ideas involving concrete concepts and simple ideas involving abstract concepts.
Simple idea - Taking care of others.
Concrete: Taking care of my family.
Abstract: Taking care of humanity.

1) I scanned your comment and misinterpreted it, I thought you were referring to weather on Mars, not the flight path window to launch. Mars' launch window is 3-4 weeks so it's an unnecessary risk.
