I’d like to see evidence too, but I can’t see how discouraging donating through spam texts is trying to discourage voting.

IMHO the negativity in the title, post's image, link text, and linked article does nothing but put a bad taste in ppls mouths and MAGA needs to supress votes

It wouldn't surprise me though. It doesn't feel like a very bold claim. You have no clue who is sending the text, that's a great opportunity for scams. Many non-profit organizations have terrible rates. I've heard of several where 20% or less goes to what they say they're doing.

If you ever want to donate, it's always best to donate to the main organization. So don't send a text with money, find the candidate or party's official page and donate there,
