I was just thinking about different animals like birds: never seem a bird choose to walk to their nests or a bear not hunting for food but I've seen chimps kill for no reason but never read anything about revenge or pleasure?
I'm not a biologist but I'm almost sure that not a single animal has the feeling of "revenge" that humans do and we also can choose, animals cannot. We choose war, and evil things whatever they may be. We CHOOSE to do them. Animals don't.
hmm, I don't have weapons, I never declared war on anybody, I don't want to destroy anybody, and I don't believe in god. Does that make me an animal?

Once a father told me: I was raising my kid like some soldier in a war, then his wife stopped him and made him understand that maybe it's important to teach compassion, empathy maybe try to do something nice to somebody once in a while. But wtf do I know I don't have kids.
I'll probably get hate for this but hear me... isn't better to lose a little bit of weight before doing that? jumping around like that is not good for your knees, but if its on foam and trampoline maybe its ok?

An interesting think about "ancient civilizations" is that we're the same, just not the same technology. I've seem many people be impressed by things like this and it is in a way but they're not stupid. It ties a lot to how some societies see themselves as capable but belittle others they see inferior.
