English is such a goofy language. "Winning is not an option" and "Winning is not optional" are complete opposites.

I beg to differ with your last statement since you definitely wasted the yeast, flour, and anything else that went into your abominable bread-log.

I need to know.. and I don't hink any less of you as a human being.. I'm sure you're very nice. But holy hell.. HOW?! what did you do? (simple) Bread is *literally*: put yeast in warm (100F) water, let bloom for 5 minutes to make sure it's alive. Throw *all* the ingredients into a bowl. Mix until you have everything incorporated. Knead for 8-10 minutes (by hand or in a mixer with a hook), rise to double in a bowl, pour out and flatten, shape, proof, bake, cool, eat. You barely have to think.

#1 I have been making bread for years. Even my first loaf turned out fine. I have an inability to understand how little someone was paying attention to a recipe to get this abomination. Bread needs 3 ingredients. You can get maybe 6 or 7 if you're doing something fancy. The process is simple (super simple if you have a stand mixer.. super simple but hard on the arms if you don't). Mix. knead, rise, shape, proof, bake. I feel like you have to actually put in effort for it to go this bad.

I met Mr. Kind while working on a film set. He was a connsumate professional and indeed a very nice, soft spoken, man.

*shrug* Looks like you're trying very hard to not understand something that, with all the context available to you, is really easy to understand. Enjoy.

What a weird thing to not understand. She's saying she makes enough money to raise a kid.

How did you not get that?

Righteous anger is a good look on him.

Just to point out.. it absolutely does give measurements. 2 eggs, 4tsp milk, 1/2 tsp vanilla, 3 tbsp all purpose flour. The only thing missing is how much sugar. looks like about 1/2 tbsp. But for the most part it's a complete recipe.

What are you talking about? That's exactly what accents do. Go ask any brit to pronounce lieutenant or garage or pecan or tomato or basil and compare to any other brit or a canadian or an american (pick your american accent there too). The syllable stress and vowel sounds change *drastically* amongst english speakers.

It's.. surprising to you that people in different places have different accents and pronounce words differently?

If the english were fine with the name soccer when they invented the term then so am I. Also things have different names in different places.

*Massively* unpopular opinioin since billions of people enjoy it, and good for them. To me.. pro soccer is a garbage sport.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

That's how you end up with this guy...

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just to give you an idea of how much money this guy has.. if this amount was translated, percentage-wise to someone earning $100,000.. it would be the equivalent of around $30.

82 million dollars is fast food money for someone with 270 billion dollars. It's disgusting.

That's an impressive collection. I grew up in the transition years between pinball and arcade video games. I played pinball a little but never really took to them like I did to the video games. But still it's fun, every now and again, to lose a bunch of quarters to that little fucking steel ball.

people really hate the browns (which is ironic seeing as greeks are sorta on the brown side of things..)

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My problem is that pretty much nobody who complains about this stuff complains about the northern europeans playing greeks. But an african or east asian person? Sacrelige!

I tend to find it interesting that these chuds never seem to want to comment that, the famously Greek, Odysseus is played by a scottish/english/finnish/swedish actor. Or that the famously Greek Penelope is played by an English/Irish/French/German actress.

I'm wonder why that is.

Can't go to the other 49 either. CBP will almost certainly nab you at the border if there's a bench warrant out for you.

Fair point. Was very annoying/frustrating for me to watch, however.

She's gotta get a better brain. A lobotomized sea slug has better reasoning skills than this vacuous dunce.

She is.. but she's not helping her case by constantly interrupting his answers. She needs to get his full answers on the record. Let them have rope to hang themselves with.

What ever woudl make you think that? I could definitely have replaced my battery if I wanted. I just didn't want to bother for something that only cost $70 for parts and labor.

It may not be a *trivial* replacement. But for the number of times I replace a battery (once every 4 or 5 years) I'm ok with the tiny hassle.

And that's not what the person I responded to was saying. They said they had to buy a whole new phone. That the battery *couldn't be replaced. I wanted to know what phone.

Yep. He's the guy we needed to deal with trump and Poilievre. I have zero problem or regret for my vote. It's sub optimal but it will get us through the next few years safely. Then we can get back to what really matters for our futures. A canadian centrist is still *waay* out left compared to what they've got down south.

What phone do you have that requires you to buy a new phone rather than just have the battery replaced? I have a 6 year old iphone and had my battery replaced easy peasy last summer. They did it while I waited and ate ice cream at the mall food court.
