I have had shaky hands forever. I didn’t start drinking until I was about 25 so it’s not an alcohol thing. Unless I got hammered the night before then it’s even worse than normal.
I’ve been doing therapy for years.
Amen to this. Also many of my hobbies are triggers for drinking. I haven’t golfed or shot my bow in those thirty days. I have shaky hands naturally so I drink to help me play and shoot better. But then it just spins out of control because not drinking causes me to shake so I drink more. *sigh*

It assumes the worst until it knows it’s safe. We see a stranger and our brains think they are a threat until proven otherwise. It’s just how we are wired. Doesn’t justify perpetuating ignorance or hate but it doesn’t justify the knee jerk reaction. I didn’t ask to be human.
