I think I watched JP first, then Forest Gump, and Pulp Fiction third. I didn't see Shawshank until it was on video. Can't believe my dad let me watch Pulp Fiction at 13.

Shawshank didn't do well in theaters at all, and honestly against that line up, it's hard to blame people. A movie about men on death finding hope is a hard sell comparatively.

‘94 was when final fantasy 6 came out along with super Metroid, and donkey Kong country. 94 was definitely a good year. 97 was really great too

I’m against the idea that the plot of movies, novels, stories in general, can be spoiled after a time. Future generations deserve to enjoy these stories as their authors intended them to, as we did in our time. Spoil has no time.

Was still in theaters then.. Jurassic Park was a HUGE movie in terms of special effects. It was the first time nearly everyone saw photo-realistic CGI. Before this, you could ALWAYS tell if something as complicated as a dinosaur was fake. Kind of like AI now, people were starting to grasp that there is going to be a lot of hard to detect bullshit in our future.
