I was on the BoD of Phoenix Pride for years, trans folk have a funny thing where their ultimate goal seems to be to leave the LGBT community behind. I say this with love, but a large number of trans, if given the opportunity to take a magic pill and change genders, they'd do it in a heartbeat and pretend they never born in another body.

i've been on linux for years too, but i run into issues with it daily. if my computer goes to sleep, there's a 50/50 i am going to have to restart it or my monitors wont wake up properly. also my laptop doesn't sleep properly which means if i forget to turn it off before i close it, it'll be 100% dead the next day.I use linux because f'ck Microsoft, but I don't pretend like it's smooth sailing.

As a person who was violently sexually assaulted, who was left with multiple broken bones, and blood dripping down my legs, I really hate conflating rape with paid consensual sex. I understand legally a 17 year old can't consent, and maybe the english language isn't able to handle the difference. But it bothers me that we won't separate these two very different acts.

Member of Mensa, active member of my local LGBT org, academic scholarships, grants, etc etc. I played the game too. But I'm not so dense as to not understand where those with less ability to play the game could get jaded. If you don't understand the other side how can you ever find resolution? Maybe start with hating less and listening more.
