She just went on with her shitty lesson, and a few minutes into class, the school intercom came on, saying if there are any students that wish to leave early, they will be excused.I was one that left early. The next day, in the same Government/Economics class, first period, when the morning announcements came on, it was the only time that every single student stood up, hand over heart, for the pledge of allegiance. I had to leave the room halfway through it. I was sobbing.
I was a senior in high school in Government/Economics class. The teacher let the corner mounted CRT TV play the whole time. We saw the second plane hit, and the students in the class, about 15 of us, could only speculate. The news was saying the first plane was some kind of accident with a small plane, like a farmer that lost control or something. Once that second plane hit, the news couldn't deny it. Next period I had English, and the teacher didn't turn on the TV, no matter how much we 1/2

#50 my nickname as a baby was "baba princess," because I would just lay in my crib and endlessly go "bababababababababababa" ...that name haunted me well into my 20s

This one is likely a "tweenie," between mini and standard, so like 11 to 16 lbs full grown. Most companion dachshunds are tweenies. Full on standard dachshunds are typically just show animals. With proper training, care, and diet, tweenie weiners will do just fine. Source: my tweenie is turning 18 this September and is healthy af, and I personally met 3 other tweenies that got to 16+. If they have good weenie genes, aka not bred to stupid proportions, they can live long, healthy, happy lives. :)

I am in my early 40s, and I had chicken pox THREE times. The first two times, my entire body was covered, so I was slathered in calamine lotion and dipped in oatmeal baths, and the third time it was just a couple of spots on my nose that itched like hell and wouldn't go away, so my mom took me to the doctor and OOPS. Chicken pox again. I also had strep NINE TIMES in one year. I still have my tonsils for some reason. Doctors hate me.
